This place is officially the first and best kebab joint in Freiburg. The meat is juicy and the chicken is succulent. The appetizers taste authentic and they look like they're made by the hands of experts who are keen to satisfy their customers' taste buds. They have a wide variety of southern Turkish kebabs and few chicken ones. The sevice is friendly and one can feel the cosiness of the place since it's a family run business. There are some things to improve for sure: 1.I would have loved to have pistachio kebab and 2. I would use the Döner meat and serve it in an authentic fashion rather than the German Döner Style. Disappointing Decline in Quality and Service

I've been a loyal customer at Sevgin Ocakbaşi in Freiburg for over a year now, and the restaurant has noticeably gone downhill. Initially, back in 2023, the quality was commendable, but recently, the meat has been of horrific quality. Just today, my family was served meat that was clearly rotten, masked by an excessive amount of spices. When my wife and child visited the restaurant without the owner present, the service was abysmal. The chef or cook, who was either Arab or Turkish, behaved in a savage manner, causing a chaotic scene. Honestly, the customer service has hit rock bottom, and the food quality has followed suit. I urge the owner to fire this individual unless they want their business to shut down. Sevgin Ocakbaşi, you've turned from a favorite to a disgrace.

Ich bin seit über einem Jahr ein treuer Kunde des Sevgin Ocakbaşi in Freiburg, aber das Restaurant ist merklich abgewirtschaftet. Zu Beginn im Jahr 2023 war die Qualität noch lobenswert, doch in letzter Zeit ist das Fleisch von schrecklicher Qualität. Heute wurde meiner Familie Fleisch serviert, das eindeutig verdorben war, überdeckt von einer Unmenge an Gewürzen. Als meine Frau und mein Kind das Restaurant ohne den Besitzer besuchten, war der Service katastrophal. Der Koch oder Chefkoch, der entweder Araber oder Türke war, verhielt sich barbarisch und verursachte Chaos. Ehrlich gesagt, der Kundenservice ist auf ein Niveau abgesunken, das man nur als beschämend bezeichnen kann, und die Qualität des Essens hat sich dementsprechend verschlechtert. Well, this restaurant was really clean. Inside the restaurant it was very full. They even created a table for five persons when it was that full. The service was really good and fast. But the food...................... was DELICIOUS! I ordered a Urfa Dürum and it was the best one that i ate in my WHOLE LIFE!
