A lovely Italian place I was hoping to visit whilst in Hamburg and it didn't disappoint. Nice decor with friendly and quick service. We tried the carbonara and spinach and ricotta ravioli. The carbonara was definitely more exciting in terms of flavour and is more filling. Both were very tasty with the ham and oil of the carbonara really lifting it up. I'd have ordered even more but was trying to visit on a budget. Prices were definitely a little higher than I'm used to but I have nothing to complain about. If I'm back in Hamburg I'll likely be here for some tasty pasta.

Pasta perfection. The owner has been running it for 20 years and it's got a perfect sheen to it, in terms of what is being served and the pairings that go with the dishes on the menu. The space is cute and cozy. But I would personally like to try some of the other dishes cause the one special I had was terrific, quite extraordinary in my opinion. Also you get to hear the owner sing along to the bar music and that's just a nice vibe. Go! Enjoy!

Romeo and his team are what Ottensen is all about. Friendly, local and personal, this is authentic Italian hospitality at its best. Serving THE best pasta, toasties and coffee in town, without any hipster pretension. Stay all day or shoot an espresso and run. It's a home away from home. It's where you feel like one of the family.
