This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I have ever had.
I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day, hoping for a special evening, but it turned into a complete disaster. The entire experience was appalling, from the management to the service, and particularly the food.
Food: We opted for the four-course meal, which was a tremendous disappointment. Two hours in, we were only halfway through, and the remaining courses were still pending. Understandably, this led to frustration. When the third course finally arrived, the server seemed confused about which table it belonged to. We were never offered refills or asked if we wanted new drinks, and the seating arrangement was uncomfortably close to other diners. The food itself was excessively seasoned with salt and pepper, to the point where any Turkish restaurant in Hamburg would have been a preferable option.
Service: The service team was clearly overwhelmed and understaffed, which significantly detracted from the Valentine's Day experience. Initially, I was sympathetic and spoke with the manager, who explained the kitchen was short-staffed and promised our meal would start soon. However, we waited another 45 minutes for service to begin and an additional 30 minutes just for our drinks. There were no offers for refills or checks on our satisfaction—a level of service that falls below that of fast-food chains.
When we decided we could no longer wait for our meals, I requested to speak with the manager. The server fetched him from the basement, and it was clear he lacked leadership qualities. Instead of apologizing or offering solutions, he made excuses for the delays and poor service. His response was not only inadequate but also rude. As I refused to pay for the abysmal service and left, the manager followed me outside, yelling in German, which I do not understand. His behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate.

To start he didn't want to accept my COVID QR code but accepted some other Guest directly behind me. I showed my Covid pass via a screenshot (3 shots) but again, he stated he would not acceot a screenshot. Funny.....Airport Customs officials, courts & just about everyone else accept screenshots of Covid passes.....but not this WAITER.
The writing on the menu is SSSOOOO SMALL. It's truly not readable, even for Young eyes. Who did they make it for......Ants?????
I ordered the Chicken cheesesteak....let me tell you, this thing was NO WHERE NEAR a Chicken cheesesteak! Perhaps the owners should have toured NYC/New Jersey/ Philadelphia to see what a REAL Cheesesteak sandwich looks like....what I got was more like a few pieces of Chicken on a Hotdog roll!!!!! Totally disappointing and super EXPENSIVE. I've never been hungry after eating a REAL Cheesesteak sandwich. After my hotdog sandwich, I was still hungry.
I than asked the waiter if the Cheesscake was made like Amerikan cheesecake...yuk...or German Käsekuchen. His reply " What does it say on the menu!" Of course, I said I wanted nothimg else....especially from him.
The Guest I was entertaining also noticed the waiter's attitude and asked if we should go elsewhere. In these hard times of a Pandemic and every shop is trying to remain OPEN, this person is not helping this business but hampering it.
I would NEVER go back to this restaurant. Normally, I give an establishment TWO times to impress me but again, during this Pandemic, you lost your ONE & ONLY chance.
Your staff should be MORE than joyous to have Guest who continue to dine out, instead of making them feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
I paid the bill & TIPPED the rude waiter also. The other employees shouldn't suffer because of his lack of Customer Service.

Read moreFirst time i came here I'd probably give 5 star for good food good service The second time i came back, took like 1 hour for the appetizer ngl and forgetful service let me down really, but since i understand that they're lacking of personal and they have sincerely sorry so i still give it another try. 3rd time for lunch and also the last time then i'm done with it. Ordered the tomahawk medium but when it come to the cutting, it was raw, not like blue rare but raw like you can hear the cow moing. The chef who do the cutting explained that it have to be like that so when he put the meat back into the hot stone plate then the meat would turn medium. Make sense but the plate he bought just stone cold. I was calmly and ask him nice to shortly take the steak back into the grill to medium, or medium rare medium well are also okay. He came back with mostly well done steak and i can only smell the char. I steak was dry so i decided to order another rib eye for myself and some drink. The drink was forgotten, the side salat came like after we finished the tomahawk and my rib eye was close to raw again. I'm a big fan of tartare and sashimi but sorry that's the thing i can't handle, got stomachache after that
