Lokmam Köz is an excellent Turkish restaurant in Hamburg. It provides a culinary journey to Turkey with its authentic dishes, warm ambiance, and attentive service. Whether you're a fan of Turkish cuisine or looking to explore it for the first time, Lokmam Köz is a top choice. This restaurant deserves its place among the best in Hamburg's vibrant dining scene, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. **Ambiance:** As you step inside Lokmam Köz, you're immediately enveloped in the welcoming atmosphere of a traditional Turkish eatery. The interior is beautifully decorated with rich colors, mosaic lamps, and rustic wooden furniture. The seating arrangements include comfortable booths, making it perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. **Service:** The service at Lokmam Köz is exceptional. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to assist diners in choosing dishes. Their warm hospitality and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences enhance the overall dining experience. **Menu:** The menu at Lokmam Köz offers a delightful array of authentic Turkish dishes. Here are some notable highlights: 1. **Appetizers:** The mezze selection is a must-try. It features a variety of small plates such as hummus, baba ghanoush, and stuffed grape leaves, all bursting with flavor. 2. **Kebabs:** Lokmam Köz is renowned for its succulent kebabs. Whether you prefer chicken, lamb, or vegetarian options, each kebab is cooked to perfection over an open flame. 3. **Desserts:** Don't miss the baklava and kunefe for dessert. These sweet treats are heavenly, offering a perfect end to your meal. We tried baklava cheesecake and it was Woow! Just try it **Food Quality:** The quality of the food at Lokmam Köz is outstanding. Ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are authentic. The use of traditional spices and cooking techniques truly elevates the dining experience. **Price:** While Lokmam Köz is not the cheapest option in Hamburg, the pricing is reasonable given the quality of the food and the dining experience it offers. It's great value for the exceptional dishes you receive. **Location:** Only negative point was the parking spaces nearby. For dinner it was almost impossible to have paid street parking. Even more strange issue was that people were occupying the electric car parking spots without using them, so we couldn’t use them!

Stepping into the Turkish delight that is Lokmam Restaurant was an absolute feast for the senses. From the moment I entered, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that instantly set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to ensure every need was met with a smile. Now, let's talk about the food – oh my, where do I even begin? Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and expertly crafted to perfection. From the savory kebabs to the aromatic rice pilaf, every bite was a symphony of taste sensations that left my taste buds dancing with joy. And don't even get me started on the heavenly desserts – they were simply divine! But it wasn't just the food that left me in awe; it was the entire ambiance of the restaurant. Review 072023: We loved the food to core. The food was served hot and fresh. The meat grilled was fresh and amazingly the lamb has NO SMELL, like seriously NO SMELL AT ALL. I loved it as my sensitive taste buds and nose were totally thankful for the grill platter. The rice tasted very tasty and had corns and peas, which i liked as it showed their effort. The chicken beyti was totally yummm, i ve tried at other places but this place won my heart. Freshly made nans and Turkish sauces made it top. The drinks were also fine. Fir drinks i would love to ve a bit more fine tuning 🤭🤭 The service was five stars. Frau Damet served us, very professional and very friendly, she tried her best and gave us time to explain which actually added value. The waiters were super active 💪🏼💪🏼 smiling and also checking if we liked the food or not. Keep it up team Lokmam köz. I will definitely come again, try other aspects and share with my audience here ❤️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Review 2021: I loved the food which i think was on a pricy end but had a big portion size. The ambiance was very good. As in evening out starts to get crowded, it is better to reserve before coming specially on weekend. The waiters are very friendly and guided very well. Loved the total experience.

It was a great meal here! We walked in for lunch and didn't have to wait. The restaurant is full though and there is always a line for dinner in the weekend. The staff is quick, friendly and helpful. He changed our dish immediately when told that it was the wrong dish. Food is just delicious! The Adana kebab is well seasoned, smoky, and moist. The organ soup will be good for those who like innards. It tastes strong, but also creamy. However I had strong stomachache afterwards. Not 100% sure if that was the reason though, but I didn't eat anything before that except for regular breakfast at home. Baba ganoush is great for someone who likes chunky mashed grilled aubergine with lots of garlic aroma. That was great. It was such a pity that the spicy sauce Ezme was bitter and not special though. The complimentary Salat and bread were amazing. Especially the Salat! Not sour and monotone like many other places. Nice lager beer. The homemade ayran was just ok. The cup/bowl looks cute but not really handy to hold and it can't stand properly on the stand. I must say that the seating is quite tight for a Corona situation. But, good food and great eyesight everytime you walk by the grill area. They also make their own bread there.

I have eaten at many Turkish restaurants, in many countries, but Lokmam was hands down the best in a long time (years) that I can remember. The mezes and the bread came quick, which was appeciated. We were a bit hungry, it made waiting for the main dishes easier. The Fırında Beyti was amazing. The tavuk şiş was excellent, the best tavuk şiş ever. It was juicy, seasoned well, just amazing. These two dishes are almost always just okay in other resaurants, but here... Oh Lord, it was fantastic. It was crowded, but the waiters were giving us the right amount of attention. We had an amazing time! Our only regret is forgetting about the desserts, we were full of the well-portioned main dishes. It was so good, that one of the first thoughts that I had was "I need to bring my loved ones here, they need to experience the food!".

We had a great time at the restaurant. It’s almost always fully booked so make sure to call and reserve a table in advance. The portions are big and very tasty. We had lamb Kuzu Sirti🐑 and the Karisik Izgara or mix plate with lamb chops, chicken and kofta. If you’re celebrating your birthday you can ask for a volcano 🌋 candle. The waiter was really friendly and the service was fast. The meat was perfectly cooked, extremely juicy and fresh out of the charcoal grill. I had rice as a side dish and it was so 😋 tasty. They always give you complimentary bread, salad and Turkish tea ☕️. The salad was by the way super fresh and the vegetables were tasty and not just greenhouse-grown watery crops. Probably from the local farmer’s 👨🌾market.
