From the very first moment my partner and I walked into this restaurant, we were absolutely blown away. Before we even managed to sit down, two different staff members greeted us with a warm welcome and served us delicious starters. It felt like the whole team was ready to take care of us, and they did so with grace and genuine attention.

We quickly placed our order, and one of the servers, Malina (I may be slightly off with the name, but it means “raspberry” in my language), gave us incredible recommendations. She was so respectful, cheerful, and had a truly beautiful energy — I felt immediately safe and cared for.

Within minutes, our salad was already at the table, and in just 10–15 minutes, we had our perfectly prepared meat platter in front of us. The food was phenomenal — fresh, flavorful, and served with love.

But what truly makes this place special is the team. You can feel how much they care about their guests. Every single person seems to move with one goal — to deliver the best service possible. It’s warm, it’s attentive, and it’s heartfelt. I’ve never experienced this kind of atmosphere, where every moment feels infused with kindness and care.

This restaurant deserves a million stars — five just aren’t enough.

And I must highlight Malina once again: thank you, truly. You are a treasure. It was such a pleasure to be served by someone who genuinely loves what they do. Your presence made our night even more memorable.

Also, a huge bonus: the restaurant stays open very late, and the kitchen is open as long as the place is open — which is rare and amazing. Coming all the way from Denmark, we were desperately looking for a place to eat and enjoy a good glass of wine after 11 pm. After many failed attempts, we stumbled upon Lokmam — and we couldn’t have been happier.

Absolutely exceptional experience – beyond even what I’ve had in Turkey!

I’ve travelled to over 27 countries and eaten at countless Turkish restaurants, but nothing compares to the experience I had here. The food was simply out of this world — even better than in Turkey itself.

We started with the lentil soup, which was clearly homemade. You could feel the tiny pieces of lentils in every spoonful, and the flavors were perfectly balanced — comforting, rich, and deeply satisfying. It honestly tasted like heaven in a bowl.

The ayran was incredibly fresh — so creamy and smooth it almost tasted like whipped cream.

Then came the lahmacun — the best I’ve ever had, without exaggeration. You can actually watch them prepare and bake it fresh, right next to your table. It was thin, crispy, flavorful, and full of authentic taste.

The shish tawook was unbelievably tender and juicy. Every bite melted in my mouth, and I truly enjoyed every moment of the meal.

But what made this visit even more special was the service. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ali, one of the kindest, most professional, and genuinely attentive waiters I’ve ever met. His warm and welcoming presence, attention to detail, and sincere care made the entire experience unforgettable. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and his hospitality made us feel not just like guests — but truly valued.
