Mylos — Restaurant in Hamburg

My brother R. who lives nearby this Greek restaurant Mylos - had recommend to take our father to this 30 year old Greek family run restaurant for his 90th year Birthday party that is near his house. Seems like we had hit the jackpot with this decision, it had been many years since all of the son's had been able to get together in a long time! Dad was pleased to sit around a large table with all of his 8 boy's and one daughter in law. Dinner turned out great, first some appetizers, the salads and then the main dishes. We could not have been more pleased with the good service and the excellent food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a pleasent change in their diet and get served like a good good neighbor. Mylos ist unser absoluter Lieblings-Grieche in Hamburg! In unseren Augen stimmt hier einfach alles: Das Essen ist durchweg fantastisch – frisch und aromatisch. Wir greifen oft zu den Klassikern wie Gyros oder Bifteki, aber auch die Vorspeisenplatte ist ein echtes Highlight. Besonders positiv finden wir, dass es auch vegetarische und vegane Gerichte gibt – beides haben wir schon probiert und waren jedes Mal begeistert!

Was Mylos jedoch wirklich besonders macht, ist das unglaublich freundliche und herzliche Team. Selbst wenn der Laden voll ist, läuft der Service reibungslos, aufmerksam und mit einem Lächeln. Man fühlt sich hier einfach rundum willkommen.

Im Sommer lässt es sich wunderbar draußen sitzen, und auch drinnen überzeugt das gemütliche Ambiente mit viel Liebe zum Detail.

Alles in allem ein rundum großartiges Restaurant, das wir sowohl für ein entspanntes Abendessen zu zweit als auch für gesellige Abende mit Familie und Freunden empfehlen können. Die Preise sind für die hervorragende Qualität von Essen, Service und Atmosphäre absolut fair – ein echtes Preis-Leistungs-Highlight in Hamburg!

Food was good, just the calamari they was so tasteless and not until cooked. the waitress with long black hair and glasses she was so rude. She ask for ouzo after the dinner and we say no, after when she came back we ask to give as ouzo and she rolled eyes and say like is too far to go again inside. I know is our mistake but she can’t react like that, because she working with people and she have to be polite...
