Ristorante L’incontro da Cosimo — Restaurant in Hamburg

i went to the restaurant with my wife and her friend, myself being the hungry person, the other two wanting to join me and have just drinks without food. we entered and asked them if they had a table for us, upon which we were offered a table for two, which was okay for us, as only i wanted a full meal. when the elderly woman offering us the table heard that it was only one person having a full meal, we were brusquely told that we were not profitable enough for them, thus we were not accepted as guests.

this experience makes it clear that the restaurant in mainly after profit, not allowing people in, who appear unprofitable according to their calculations.

myself living in this area, i will surely never ever go there any more, nor will i take my guests to such unfriendly and bluntly capitalistic...

Claudia Pindinello und Mario Snida haben ihre kleine Oase mitten in Eimsbüttel gefunden. Schon seit 1990 verwöhnen sie Gäste immer mit frisch zubereiteten Speisen. Dafür bittet man den Gast, etwas Wartezeit in Kauf zu nehmen. Für das Ergebnis wartete der Gast jedoch gerne, es ist einfach zu gut gemacht. Die Tagesempfehlungen habe eine erstaunliche Qualität und schmecken hervorragend. Jedoch ist es keine Todsünde eine gute Pasta oder eine leckere Pizza zu bestellen. Man ist eben typisch Eimsbüttel völlig ungekünstelt und bodenständig.

Die Teller könnten auch sehr gut in einem Spitzenlokal auf den Tisch kommen. So wird Vitello Tonnato völlig neu interpretiert oder Capaccio auf eine künstlerische Weise da geboten. Dabei sind die Speisen gut gewürzt und die Soßen haben einen tollen Geschmack. Was wieder zeigt, das gerade die kleinen Ristorante immer für eine Überraschung gut sind. Dabei stimmt auch das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis auf angenehme Art und Weise.

Das Ambiente ist durch die Holzmöbel warm und landestypisch gemütlich. Der Service freundlich und sehr aufmerksam, was will der Gast mehr. Somit verbringt der Gast entspannte Stunden im bunten Eimsbüttel. Bei besonderen Gelegenheiten oder bei Veranstalltungen beweisen die beiden ein erstaunliches Geschick, bei der Deko des Ladens.
