My wife and I came for our anniversary dinner and absolutely indulged. Two ceviches, tuna, cauliflower, sweetbreads, duck, a pisco sour and a Paloma. We were of course filled to the brim after this feast but enjoyed every bite to the highest degree.
My wife and I almost never eat out. We own a restaurant ourselves and love to cook at home, but also we are so often disappointed in meals we feel we can cook as good or better for 1/3 the price. That was not the case tonight!
The dishes were all prepared to perfection and commanded our full attention from each bite. The sauces were bright and well balanced. The seafood was fresh and sweet. The meats, tender and juicy. The cauliflower, my god, the cauliflower has me laying awake in bliss just thinking about it.
Itâs also worth mentioning that the atmosphere fits great to their concept. Itâs modern, fun and casual while also being engaging. Lighting was good and the music, something I very much pay attention to wherever I go, had we wanting to pull out Shazam. Klasse.
I have long heard of Tigre and for good reason. I will be recommending in the future to others and bringing friends here when they come to HH.
In summary, my wife said it best, âThis is food to celebrate life with.â...
Read moreTo be honest I was a bit disappointed by the food. I already knew beforehand that I would order ceviche. And when I also saw causa on the menu I was in heaven! So I had the ceviche with salmon and the causa with red beets and it both looked so super delicious. I love ceviche, so I order it whenever I get the chance. And my ceviche hopes were up this time cause Peruvians know how to make damn good ceviche. This was unfortunately a somewhat fancy version of it. What I had was rather a salmon avocado layered salad sitting in some sour marinade. While eating I had the feeling that the look of this dish was prioritized and the taste suffered. Cut it all into cubes and let it sit in a nice little bowl so it all gets some marinade and I'm sure it'll taste way better. I only had causa when traveling thru Arequipa so I'll settle for that you can't compare the original dish with the one they serve here. All in all, the prices are really okay and the food is still worth trying, maybe...
Read moreDonât try the restaurant, only if you really, badly want to try.
The cold dish with raw kabeljau, along with 2 shrimps. If you want to order, make sure, you like raw Kabeljau.
Lachs Above avocado should try.
Fried chicken is good.
Fired Yuka is good too.
Chickenfriskassen inside a bum is interesting.
Pigbelly is very salty, so that I donât want to eat, just want to bing home and re-cook it. But i had to wait like 6 minutes till I had asked twice , then I got it. ( the one around 18:30) It came in a paper box . But without bag, so that i had to hold all the time in hand, in case the oil left out. I live like 15 km away from the restaurant. That is why I made my plan for Sunday to try the restaurant . But the waiter told me. The restaurant would never be like a take-away restaurant, they donât have any bag( Papier or plastic). The bill is like 74âŹ, and i paid 78âŹ. After the bag thing, i regret I should pay no tips.
thanks the service. I donât enjoy...
