We really enjoyed it! There are some negative reviews here that you should take with a grain of salt. This is not a gourmet Italian pizzeria... it is a small neighborhood based family style pizza and pasta restaurant. The pizza is pre-made.."par-baked" (only 10-15 minutes prior. There are 6-7 different choices of pizzas with different toppings) and then popped back in the over to get hot before serving. We speak no German and the staff was very helpful to us. We went on a Friday evening (~7-8PM) and the place was packed with locals from the neighborhood. You seat yourself at an open table (community-style long tables) and then go to the counter to order. Schon das Konzept der "Pizza al Taglio" – also der Möglichkeit, sich die Stücke nach individuellem Appetit zuschneiden zu lassen – ist wunderbar. Es nimmt dem Genuss jede Form von Zwang und macht das Probieren unterschiedlicher Sorten so angenehm unkompliziert.

Tatsächlich hält die Pizza, was sie verspricht: Sie ist wirklich mehr als lecker. Die Qualität der Zutaten ist spürbar, der Teig ein Gedicht – ein wirklich hochwertiges Produkt, das man in dieser Form nicht überall findet.

Was mir zudem besonders gefallen hat, ist die Atmosphäre. Die schlichte und bewusst spartanische Einrichtung besitzt eine besondere Note. Es ist nicht über designt, sondern strahlt für mich eine ehrliche, beinahe rustikale Authentizität aus, die ich als sehr charmant empfinde. Hier konzentriert man sich auf das Wesentliche: die hervorragende Pizza.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder auf ein exzellentes Stück Pizza vorbei, wenn uns der Weg das nächste Mal nach Hamburg Altona führt. Ein Ort, der mit seiner Qualität überzeugt und eine wohltuende, ehrliche Atmosphäre bietet. Absolut...

Poor service. We went there because of the good reviews, but the pizza was nothing really special and the guy at the counter was a bit rude. The pizza is already prepared and kept warm and they don't have a lot of choice. You only buy what you see. Price is per weight. In my opinion it is too expensive for what it is.
