The environment or ambience of this old house is pretty amazing. The smells of the cooking and the wood stove blend well. There is a huge selection on the menu varying from sweet with more sweet, sweet and savory, savory. From what we saw between our orders and spying on our neighbors, the portions are very generous. Staff were friendly and professional and orders were served in a timely manner. Prices were very reasonable especially when considering the portion sized. I don't give 5 stars unless I am thoroughly amazed but nonetheless I would recommend this restaurant to anyone...

We went to the restaurant requested a table, which we were told would be ready in 30-40 mins, we returned at said time, waiter was lovely we were seated ordered a drink and food , the drinks arrived 90mins later still no food, we had asked about the food after 60 mins and were told that they were very busy, but the food would be here soon. Still no food arrived 15mins later, despite the restaurant looking empty. In the end after 90mins we asked if we could pay our drinks bill and leave. Which we did, no apology, very...

Seldom have I been so disappointed. After arriving at 18:45 and being served drinks quickly and having had our order taken we then waited for 90min even having asked after 60min and having been told that our food was only a couple of minutes to go. We actually paid for our drinks before leaving with no apology in any way. It is clear this restaurant cannot cope with cooking and serving what is essentially quite quick food to prepare.
