Crispy Berlin — Restaurant in Hanover

I have seen this shop many times but wanted to give it a try. I ordered falafel Teller, told the guy I have Laktoseintoleranz and please prepare vegan, He literally replied I don't know. Still we went forward. For 8,50 I got a very small portion like handful portion in the end and then he put cheese in it, when I reminded him that I cannot eat cheese, he got kinda upset when he had to do the plate again cuz he just tried to remove it with the spoon. He couldn't explain which sauces had Laktose in it and which not. He gave no bread with it, said I have to order extra. I know no place which offers falafel without any flatbread or any sort of bread with this price. I couldn't pay with card, he insisted I should buy a drink. This was my first worst experience ordering a falafel Teller in Germany. I have eaten falafel at so many places and shops, with this price, I get atleast the quantity that will satisfy a grown up person not just being an appetizer. There is no hygiene concept too, he was wearing no gloves and used the same tong for chicken, salad, falafel balls and frying. Even same oil to fry chicken and falafel. The falafel balls when I brought them home were so much stinking of oil like they had been fried already 5-6 times in a day or from yesterday. I ended up throwing that food, didn't want to get sick. I would not recommend this place to vegetarians or vegans. I hope they improve on this cuz I wanted to support the local shop but this is a no go. FYI all the conversation was held in...

Wir sind nicht eingekehrt, sondern haben unsere Bestellung einpacken lassen. Der Döner war sehr schmackhaft, ebenso die Falafelrolle. Dazu hatten wir zwei Portionen Mozzarellasticks geordert. Diese waren massiv versalzen und schmeckten als sei eine Menge Pommesgewürz darüber ausgeschüttet worden. Meine Vermutung ist, dass alle vegetarischen Produkte in der gleichen Fritteuse zubereitet werden und die Pommes auch darüber gewürzt. Dies könnte dazu führen, dass das sich im Frittierfett befindliche Gewürz den Geschmack der Mozzarellasticks deutlich verschlechtert. Weder mein Partner noch ich wollten diese Essen, leider haben wir beide Portionen entsorgen müssen.

Das Ambiente im Laden ist einfach, der Gastraum wirkt sauber und aufgeräumt. Etwas störend empfand ich die Lautstärke (Musik und offene Küche), weshalb ich lieber zum Mitnehmen bestellt habe.

Das Personal ist freundlich und hat den recht großen Andrang an Gästen gut...

Ich habe Chicken Wings und Chicken Filets bestellt, und ich bin leider sehr enttäuscht. Das Hähnchen war komplett trocken und ungenießbar. Es scheint, als hätte man abgestandenes Hähnchen einfach in den Grill oder Toaster gelegt, um es zu erhitzen. Die Grillstreifen waren noch deutlich sichtbar. Dadurch war das Fleisch nicht knusprig, sondern extrem hart und zäh.

Die Bilder sprechen für sich. Das Hähnchen sieht nicht frisch aus, sondern eher wie ein Versuch, altes Fleisch wiederzuverwerten. Für den Preis erwarte ich definitiv bessere Qualität. Ich werde hier sicher nicht noch einmal bestellen. Absolut nicht...
