Unfortunately most of the negative reviews are coming from the guys working for the competitor restaurants, it is obvious. We live in Poland and we were going to France, decided to stop for a night in Hanover and found this amazing Turkish restaurant. I agree the street it is in is not very comfortable for families, too many weird people around, you feel like you will get mugged any second. The food is tasty, after all the fake kebab shops in Poland, their kebab plate was a sight for sore eyes. Manti also tastes like home. Waiters are super friendly, if you find them unfriendly, there is something wrong with you. Some people criticize kebab plate not having fries next to it, come on guys, in Turkey real kebab don't have fries next to it. Bulgarian, UK and German versions have fries.

Needless to say, this place is really good. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming. He even explained to me the special menu of the day. It tasted just like home cooked food 👍. I had this chicken dish with rice. Too bad I couldn't taste all of the soups. Maybe next time

Die Manti waren sehr lecker und sind zu empfehlen. Die Kombi mit dem Joghurt oben drauf ist top. Der Grillteller war üppig und ausreichend, das Fleisch schön saftig und zart. Der Dönerteller war leider nicht so unser Fall, da das Fleisch recht trocken war. Ein Dip, Joghurt o.ä. dazu hätte einfach sein müssen. Der Salat dazu war schön frisch. Das Fladenbrot weich und locker, nicht trocken. Hat uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Preislich aber super, für diese Portionen.

Leider muss ich meine Bewertung überarbeiten. Wir waren schon öfters hier essen. Das letzte mal zu Iftar. Wir haben eine gemischte Grillplatte bestellt. In allen anderen türkischen Restaurants hat man reichlich Fleisch und Salat,Reis und Soße auf so einer Grillplatte. Woanders bekommt man für denselben Preis: 2 Köfte,ein Adanakebab,ein ganzes Rindschaschlik,Putenfleisch,Minilahmacun,1 Stück Lammkotelett und 1 Hähnchenschaschlik(5-6 Stückchen Hähnchen). Man bezahlt auch ca 16 euro. Das was wir bei Karadeniz bekommen haben: 1 Köfte, 1 Lammkotelett,2 Stückchen Hähnchen (vom Saschlik.Nicht das Ganze). 2 Stückchen Rind (nicht das Ganze vom Saschlik) und Bulgur. Davon hätte ich 2 Teller geschafft. Wir beide waren nicht satt. Die Portionen sind viel zu wenig. Daher passt das Preisleistungsverhältnis hier absolut nicht.Wir werden leider nicht mehr kommen. Hier stimmt alles: Geschmack - frisch und lecker wie bei Oma, Gastfreundlichkeit, Preis.

Ich war zum ersten Mal in Hannover und suchte etwas zum Mittagessen in der Nähe - aufgrund guter Bewertungen kam ich in dieses freundliche Lokal. Ein Volltreffer!!

Der aufmerksame Kellner merkte, dass ich nicht genau wusste wie es in diesem Laden läuft, er nahm mich mit zur Theke, zeigte und erklärte mir die verschiedenen Tagesessen, ich probierte zwei verschiedene Lamm-Gerichte, die beide sehr lecker schmeckten. Am nächsten Tag kam ich gleich wieder zum Mittagessen hier her, dieses Mal nahm ich die Sardellen. Wieder schmeckte es ganz ausgezeichnet.

Die Atmosphäre im Lokal ist sehr freundlich und entspannt, alle Mitarbeiter/innen sind aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt.
