Curry House — Restaurant in Kaiserslautern

I have been visiting Curry House for almost 1.5 years now(at least 2 times a month) as this "Was" the best Indian Restaurant I found in Kaiserslautern after trying all. At the beginning this was managed by a Gujarati couple (Husband was the cook and wife used to manage the hall). Mid of 2018 this was taken over by a Punjabi family which for few days tried to keep the same quality and quantity of the food but not for a long time.

The food served these days doesn't taste give you the same feeling anymore. I informed this to the owners several times but the feedback was not taken well and I could see a sense of ignorance at their face.

I ordered a Paneer dish today which was either cooked in oil already used multiple times for deep frying or the Paneer was not fresh which gave me an immense discomfort in my throat right after the meals.

Ordered this off of food delivery service and this came to me perfect. They even made sure they plated my meal in the aluminum containers. The delivery driver was awesome and the food was perfect. I chose mild on the minced lamb skewers and the lamb looked perfect with a side of curry sauce with great flavor. The veggie curry I got Indian hot and it had good spice to it and was soft and just tasty. I also got the cheese naan and also perfect naan. Will be ordering here again.

Have ordered a few more times and have never been disappointed. Food always arrives in timely fashion, warm and plenty flavorful. The lamb doesn’t have a real flavor of lamb which is too bad, but seems like Germany in general...

a small restaurant for sure, but the food was great! we showed up at around 1230 but unfortunately it seemed like there was only one cook and one server. We were 2 people out I think around 15 in the whole restaurant and we struggled to flag the waiter down just to ask for water and to place our order. Once it was placed, it took almost an hour to get it and the restaurant closed at 2pm. Luckily they were nice about us eating our food and didn't rush us (at least not right away) to eat our food. After about 30 min they kind of started pushing us out the door "do you need a box?" and giving us after lunch mints...etc.

Recommend the restaurant for quality food, would have to eat there again for a final decision on...
