Pho Viet — Restaurant in Kaiserslautern

Overall, Pho Viet was a happy surprise after numerous attempts at finding decent Pho in the KMC area. They do not offer multiple sizes as they do in the States. We have yet to find a place that offers that. Pho is one of those meals that you might want to get down on, or pretend to be on a diet and get a smaller portion. What we really enjoyed was the quality and taste of the broth. A lot of times the broth is very watery. Pho Viet does a sound job on their broth and I recommend trying it.

Kids are a bit averse to the visual of Pho. If they tried it they would love it. However, there are plenty of options for the kids. Everything ordered was delicious.

The ambiance is good. The restaurant is very large and wide open. The staff appears to be mostly of not all family. Much respect to that, and the patriarch of the group likes to mess...

The food is no longer the same as before. I don’t understand what went wrong with their buffet, the shrimps and meat were so salty, my man couldn’t eat anything, he was just drinking 🤦‍♀️. I regretted bringing him there. Everything became so expensive, they don’t dish out enough food, I was literally picking food cause the serving dishes were empty, I complained but they kept saying, they’re bringing more. Drinks are supposed to be included in buffet, at least that’s how other Asian restaurants I’ve been to do but I understand everyone runs their business differently. I left there angry to be honest. Place is nice, owner reserved, I asked for water, he asked me tab water or bottle water, I said tab, soup had a good taste, my husbands soup came so hot boiling in a little hot stove, meat was raw you have to cooked, to make story short, he charge for tab water $3.00, ridiculos, the lady next table was so upset, he was saying he is paying a lot for water, business is not the saame, that is not our problem, beside ,the lady was eating her brown rice and she felt something in her mouth, it was a thin wire, the one you wash the pots, he said is not his fault she found that, RIDICULOUS!!! she still have to pay for the food she didnt even finish.
