BEP XUA — Restaurant in Karlsruhe

This restaurant is a 4.5 star restaurant in my opinion.

AMBIANCE 4: The ambiance is pleasant and calming, the tables are not decorated in any special way. This is also in harmony with the simple, but extremely flavorful cuisine of Vietnam. Chopsticks, forks and knives are present on the table, so you can choose how to eat your food.

SERVICE 4.5: The service is excellent and extremely friendly. The waiter will gladly explain how to tackle a dish if you're not sure. If it gets really busy you'll have to wait a bit longer to get in a new order, but nothing too scary (maybe 5 minutes more than normal).

FOOD 5: The food was indeed perfect. We ordered some spring rolls, which are not cooked. They were made to order, with very fresh ingredients and were simply tasty and beautiful to look at (see photo). I had a spicy vegetable shrimp dish, which came with rice. The portion size was perfect and the taste simply awesome. My friend had Pho soup, which was also very flavorful and had an unexpected, but pleasant flavor profile. If you're into asian type cuisine and enjoy stronger flavors then make sure to visit this restaurant.

PRICE: The price range for a main dish is 12-18. You can extrapolate the rest of the prices from that ;)

Nice and chill restaurant where you can grab some a nice Vietnamese food and enjoy a calm conversation.

Food was tasty. A bit on the pricy side for Vietnamese food, but at least the portions were somewhat generous. Still, with drink, appetizer and main dish expect to about over 30€ per person.

This small family Restaurant is one of the Best Vietnamese Restaurants I've had. Certainly close to what I experienced in Hanoi. The Summer Rolls were out of this world - a must. The different Pho we tried where also incredible.

One one side one could argue the service is slow, but having in mind that it's a small buisiness and the quality is great it is worth the wait. Certainly I will come back to try the dessert and...
