Lovely setting right by the river, interior decoration is great with wood, brick, and also stone arches. Tables are oddly not oriented for all diners to see the river, and some tables were uncomfortably close together such that chairs bumped. Excellent menu variety, though I would have loved to see a Bahn Mi. We did have some service issues which are unfortunate but also forgivable, and probably not representative of most diners’ experience. First, we were not given menus or offered water until we flagged down someone to ask. We saw others being seated with menus right away. All other occupied tables had little succulent plants and small lamps except ours. Then, it took a bit for us to find out there was a menu in English online, via a QR code on the menu. We had been plowing through with google translate before that. Finally, our order was lost and it took a while for that to be noticed, and in the meantime we were waiting at least 45 minutes (maybe an hour? we weren’t entirely sure) for our appetizer, which was especially painful with children. Although it would have been great for the kitchen error to be recognized sooner, the waiter was very nice to offer us some compensatory drinks. The appetizer combo we received could have benefited from small appetizer plates and a small ladle to serve the soup. We also waited quite a while after we finished eating to get boxes and the check. All that said, the food was VERY good, and our children were especially enthusiastic; our older son loves vegan sushi and he had high praises. The presentation was top notch, with some added drama from pouring hot water over dry ice at the table to create fog. The nonalcoholic mixed drinks — mango lassi and mint drinks — were...
Read moreThere were four of us eating here at the weekend, none of us vegans or vegetarians, but we wanted to give it a try. I had expected more based on the many positive reviews. The atmosphere is pleasant, very modern, stylish and the lighting is pleasantly subdued. The food was beautifully presented, with real flowers for example, but the taste was too sweet for me personally. I had the seitan chicken with vegetables and a hoisin peanut sauce and had hoped for a slightly more savory taste and my friends found their dishes too lightly seasoned. I was also not convinced by the imitation chicken. It looked deceptively similar to real meat, but in my opinion it couldn't achieve the exquisite taste of real (organic) chicken. I also expected to see more vegetable-based dishes on the menu instead of so many dishes with meat substitutes. I also don't think it's appropriate that you have to pay extra for the side dishes, because almost €20 for a main course is quite a lot of money, even if many things have become more expensive and you should pay a reasonable price for good food. But the drinks prices are also high, I agree with the reviews above. The service staff were very helpful, but sometimes seemed a bit overwhelmed, my friend was not given a spoon or sugar with her espresso and when everything was finally at the table, the drink had gone cold... Conclusion: it was an experiment that I personally won't be repeating any time soon, but I wish all satisfied guests...

However, the comfort of the dining experience was somewhat marred by table design. The tables, though aesthetically pleasing, proved inconvenient as knees were prone to colliding with the table legs.
In summary, Project Vegan in Koblenz is a commendable choice for those seeking a plant-based culinary adventure. With flavorful dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, it stands as a testament to the growing appeal of vegan cuisine. While minor improvements in service and table design could enhance the overall experience, Project Vegan remains a noteworthy destination for vegan...
