So, where to start? One of the staff was rude first of all, but the food oh my god. It says Italian pizza, brother do a research first on how Italian food looks like - the dough was uncooked I could taste the gooey dough in my mouth, it was sticky, the cheese was not melted and the toppings??? Who puts artichokes in Italy sir. And they had small cubed veggies uncooked.. vegetables were crunchy lmao it's not supposed to be that way right? Not in Italy I believe. I have been to Italy this has to be a joke - this pizza😭. No olive oil no garlic oil or any condiments just small ass uncooked pizza for 13 euro. Also let me get back on to the staff ....we tried to be nice to the staff all the time because it's not their fault the food is bad - it's the kitchen and owner who let these things happen. She came for the bill and we were smiling and saying thank you and all but she was looking away at the river the whole time she was there and and gave an EYE ROLL? I'm sorry ig 😐. and said bye while looking at another direction without giving us a glance and went back ...mmm this is said to be rude in our country. AND NO YOU CAN'T SAY PEAK HOURS OR SHE WAS BUSY ..YOUR RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY lmao and all the staff was hanging out together outside. My first time reviewing a restaurant because it pissed me off so much and sorry for being rude. But we'll you started it...

Ristorante Pizzeria da Pulcinella: A Delicious Find Next Door

Sometimes, the best discoveries are made by chance! Staying at the hotel next to Ristorante Pizzeria da Pulcinella, I stumbled upon this Italian gem on a rainy evening when options were limited, and it turned out to be an excellent decision.

The menu offers a fantastic selection of pizzas, pasta, and other classic Italian dishes. We opted for pizza, and they were truly delicious and unique. I've never encountered such innovative combinations before, making for a memorable meal.

Beyond the food, the restaurant boasts a very unique ambience, and the service is great. The only minor suggestion would be for the waiters to perhaps crack a smile a bit more often. Overall, Ristorante Pizzeria da Pulcinella is a highly recommended spot for anyone craving authentic and creative Italian cuisine and not to forget the amazing view of the river...

Wir waren vergangenen Freitag dort, es war im neuen Restaurant unser zweiter Besuch, zuvor war das Restaurant sehr klein in der Rizzastraße. Beim ersten Besuch Anfang des Jahres fand ich schon den Service nicht so dolle, weil der Umgang mit den Gästen einfach unempathisch ist, das war er jedoch auch schon vorher in der Rizzastraße. Was uns am Freitag dort erwartete, war jedoch die Krönung. Von einem älteren Herren, der sinnlos in der Gegend rumstand, wurde man gefragt, was man wolle. Gottseidank hatten unsere Freunde schon einen Platz eingenommen, so dass wir dann zum Tisch durften. Die Bestellung wurde von der Inhaberin aufgenommen, der es schon sehr schwer fällt, mal ein nettes Wort mit den Gästen zu wechseln oder gar zu lächeln. Gebracht wurde unsere Bestellung von einem "Herrn", der zwar grinste, jedoch nicht das tat, was seine Aufgabe ist: bedienen. Er stand stocksteif an unserem Tisch und streckte uns den Arm entgegen, damit wir ihm doch bitteschön die Getränke abnehmen. Genauso verhielt es sich beim Essen und später beim Abräumen des Tisches - er machte wirklich keine Bewegung zu viel, ließ sich alles von uns anreichen. Ganz ehrlich: Ich will nicht päbstlicher sein als der Pabst, aber das war unterirdisch. Das Essen selbst war auch nicht so dolle. Der Pizzarand sehr breit, hoch und dazu verbrannt, in der Mitte superdünn und wabbelig. Die Nudeln (Carbonara) waren zwar originial italienisch zubereitet (also ohne Sahne), aber total fad, jedoch wenigstens al dente. Während des Essens kam niemand zu uns, um eine neue Bestellung Getränke aufzunehmen. Und auch nach dem Essen selbst kam niemand. Wir saßen 3 Stunden dort und hatten jeweils in der ganzen Zeit 2 Getränke bei schwül-warmen Temperaturen. Wir wurden schlicht ignoriert. Stattdessen stand eine der Bedienungen am Eingang und rauchte und schaute sich die Gäste an. Diese kam uns dann auch abkassieren (wir hatten also 3 verschiedene Personen an unserem Tisch). Sie war superunfreundlich und sowas von demotiviert, wie ich es selten zuvor erlebt habe. Schön, dass man für diesen Service 0 Sterne vergeben kann!

Das einzig schöne an diesem Abend war der Blick - aber den hat man in anderen Restaurants an der Promenade auch und unsere nette Begleitung. Dafür gibt es 4 Sterne.
