Sylvie's Café — Restaurant in Kronberg im Taunus

We visited this place to enjoy some refreshments and a good piece of cake. We were not disappointed. The interior looks amazing, like in Vienna but with a slightly modern twist. Loved the armchairs! All tartes looked fabulous, but imho, a good cheesecake is the best indicator for quality - at least for me. So I tasted it. And this was awesome. Creamy with a slight vanilla touch providing sensations on the tounge. I tased the so called best cheesecake of the city in Bamberg, cheap ones, luxury ones. Chessecakes from beginners, homemade ones and I need to happily admit, that this was the third best I have tasted so far. It was worth the price, despite the price is above average.

Service was nice, friendly and helpful. I am not sure whether it was related to the weather, the event or due to the interior, but it felt like a reminiscence to the coffee house culture of...

A very cosy cafe with a beautiful interior, with a Vienna-cafe feeling and a relaxing atmosphere. The coffee was good, vanilla ice cream was not so good, according to my friend. The service was very pleasant and friendly. One thing I want to mention, due to which I removed one star - the air was extremely heavy, and not the "good, smells of coffee and cake" heavy, but fresh air was really missing, maybe partly because of the candles. You get used to it, but still...

Seit der Eröffnung die populäre Wohlfühl-Oase und behagliche Ruhestätte in der Hektik des Alltags, momentan die erste Anlaufstelle für Pandemiemüde zur gastronomischen Labung und seelischen Aufheiterung und sowieso und jederzeit DER Wallfahrtsort für Kronberger Koffein-Junkies.

In Sylvie’s Café findet der Kaffee-Aficionado hervorragende Espresso-basierte Getränke in jeder Spielart, von Espresso über Espresso Macchiato und Cortado zu Cappuccino und Latte, und das Ganze auf Wunsch sogar mit Hafermilch für die Veganer und Lactose-Intoleranten unter uns.

Zur Stärkung steht stets eine große Auswahl an frisch gebackenen Kuchen bereit. Darüber hinaus locken verführerisch duftende Waffeln und andere Leckereien und bei Bedarf auch Herzhaftes wie Panini oder Quîche. In der winterlichen Pandemie kamen noch wechselnde Mittagsgerichte und Suppen hinzu. Die Zutaten stammen von den besten lokalen Betrieben und Lieferanten wie beispielsweise einer kleinen lokalen Kaffeerösterei . Man schmeckt es am Ergebnis.

Abgerundet wird das Angebot durch ein gemütliches Ambiente, das man im Augenblick pandemiebedingt leider nicht nutzen kann, sowie freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, das für jeden ein nettes Wort hat.
