Café Kibinas Leipzig — Restaurant in Leipzig

Right from the start everything was nice. It's a great location in Leipzig. The owner was serving us, I believe. He was very nice and recommended taking the broth with my Kibinas. The Kibinas are handmade and the filling was great. I ordered two. I recommend the pork and cabbage. The actual dough to make the Kibinas is also, at least for me, perfect. Delicious! Pelmeni and Wereniki were both so good, I could happily eat it all day long. The coffee was also pretty nice. Everything was very reasonably priced, especially for the quality. The gentleman serving us was also friendly, and although our German was a bit limited, I appreciate we were able to converse and he didn't feel the need to switch to English (helping us learn!). Schönes Café. Habe aufgrund der super Google Bewertungen vorbei geschaut. Ich war begeistert von der Napoleon Torte. Die kannte ich so vorher noch nicht aber sie war richtig gut, leider war das Stück nicht so groß.

Die Speisekarte habe ich leider nicht ganz verstanden, vielleicht lag es aber auch an mir. Ich wollte eigentlich Pelmeni, weil ich den Aufsteller auf der Straße gesehen hatte. In der Speisekarte hatte ich es aber so verstanden dass es Pelmeni nur von Montags bis Freitags gibt. Ich hatte dann das Kibinas bestellt, in der Hoffnung, dass das auch eine Art Pelmeni ist. Allerdings ist das ja eine völlig andere Art der Teigtasche und mit Pelmeni nicht zu vergleichen. Das Kibinas mit Käse und Spinat war gut, aber nichts besonderes. Wie gesagt, vielleicht lag es an mir (ich hätte ja auch fragen können) aber ich fand die Speisekarte etwas undurchsichtig.
