The DANZA restaurant is in Ludwigsburg. It is part of the Forum am Schlosspark, one of the largest culture and congress centres in Baden-Württemberg. The Forum hosts every year top-class productions in dance, concert and opera.

This is also were the name DANZA restaurant comes from: DANZA means dancing in Spanish and yes it is really true, in this restaurant all your senses are dancing with happiness. Restaurant manger André and his team let you really dance! The service team is great, super friendly and what their kitchen chef with his teams celebrates, is fine dining at its best! The daily menu comes with great dishes and if you want, their chef produces you also a great 4, 5 or 6 course menu.

This is in our opinion the best restaurant this region has seen in the past 15+ years. It was already good with the previous team, but the new chef makes it even better. We had the full tasting menu - it was excellent, but what we found particularly good are the bold flavors. In Germany, particularly in this region, we are used to more muted flavors, as the people generally prefer milder tastes, and the chefs are careful not to offend them by not meeting expectations; also courses tend to follow the classical French gourmet template, to avoid any surprises. This is not the case at Danza - the flavors are bold and intensive, and the courses show imagination, bordering on experimental. Closer to the Basque gourmet, rather than typical French. We hope to see it soon rewarded by...

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen für das Danza leider nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Ja, die Location ist top und das Ambiente auch sehr schick und geschmackvoll. Alles ist neu, wirkt hochwertig und modern. Leider patzt das Danza am Kern eines Restaurants. Die Speisen sind zwar schön präsentiert, geschmacklich aber nicht besonders. Manche Kombinationen wirken eher erzwungen anstatt wirklich zu Ende gedacht. Die Optik verspricht hier mehr als dass der Geschmack zu bieten hat. Enttäuschend war aber vor allem der Service. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich, wirken aber planlos was Service betrifft. Sie waren den ganzen Abend unaufmerksam, wenn Getränke leer waren, so dass wir ständig selbst zur Bar laufen mussten. Da war dann lediglich ein Mitarbeiter zu finden, der hilflos nach Kollegen suchen musste. Hat dann nur dazu geführt, dass man in zwei ratlos Gesichter geschaut hat. "wie geht denn nochmal ein Aperol Spritz? Wie funktioniert die Espressomaschine? Wo finde ich das gekühlte Wasser?" Hallo? Das ist vielleicht am Anfang noch recht amüsant aber irgendwann extrem unprofessionell für einen Laden mit offenbar gehobenen Anspruch an sich selbst... Irgendwie hat es den Anschein gemacht, als hätten alle der vielen Mitarbeiter gerade ihren ersten Tag in der Gastronomie. Und das alles passt leider nicht zu den geforderten hohen Preisen. Insgesamt ist das Danza viel mehr Schein als Sein und sollte dringend an dem Geschmack der Speisen, aber vor allem an der Qualifikation des Servicepersonals arbeiten. Der Standort ist so schön. Bitte nehmt euch meine Worte zu Herzen und arbeitet daran. Ich werde in einiger Zeit nochmal wieder kommen und hoffe, dass sich bis dahin einiges...
