Dock Bar — Restaurant in Münster

Fantastic craft beers plus cocktails, including cocktails to go! Had a flight of 10 European craft beers, from sours to IPAs to stouts, all of which I loved. Most of them were brewed by Dock Bar folks in collaboration with other local brewers (NBN) Check the current list on Untapped. Also had the mixed Pierogis for dinner, which were crazy good and really on the mark when drinking a bunch of beer. The staff was very friendly, the decor was cool. This place will go on my list, and I'll certainly be back for more.

This place is still wonderful, they're doing somewhat regular tap takeovers with breweries near and far. Also they have trivia nights now, in German and English. Gotta...

The place is great for so many reasons. First of all, everything is in english and german, so you feel in an international and welcoming place. Second, the music and decoration are on point. Then the drinks. They have an ever evolving beer list that has some delicious beers from different countries. Tried some seriously delicious IPAs here that are impossible to find in more traditional german bars. Finally, Greg who was our waiter is an excellent host. I was old school when it comes to beer, but Dock Bar has opened up a whole new world of hop and malt to me. Before I discovered Dock Bar I was new to the craft beer experience and so had to rely on the recommendations from the staff. Not only do I get to sample most amazing beers, but the barkeeper takes the time to educate me about different brews. Dock Bar is a safe, welcoming place, even for a single woman who just wants to savor an "Unfiltered Pleasure", a beer which reminded me of a Caribbean vacation, with delightful citrus notes and a smooth coconut finish.
