Teilchen & Beschleuniger - Münster — Restaurant in Münster

OK here’s an honest review of an honest place. Teilchen is a great spot, relaxed, friendly, genuinely unpretentious.

First negative - from a coffee geek perspective, quality of coffee is unpredictable, but luckily it varies only from excellent to pretty good. However...for a place that offers fundamentally just two things (coffee and bagels), that really could be better.

Second negative - Teilchen is probably successful enough not to care, but at peak times the service is S...L...O...W...

Today I sat there for around 30 mins and saw at least three people come in, wait a minute, and then walk out again as it clearly would have taken the two dudes (one bagel dude, one coffee dude) another ten minutes to get to them.

This has also been me: Walk in, see queue of 8 people in front, walk out and go across the street to Drei Klang.

Yeh oh, maybe that’s part of the “charm” but it’s not great when you want to support a great place like this and only have a few minutes before your train.

Otherwise, good people, good coffee, good bagels, good philosophy, good everything except wait time and occasionally lazy...

They served only bagels, coffee und cocktails. They don't have much variety but there coffee is really good. They are fast ro serve food. It is a nice place to have small bite and have chit chat with friends. Place is really small and not having many seats. It is always full and hard to get the place. Reservations can't be done. They are also offering birthday party service there. Beside that they are charging now one euro extra for meat and the argument for it is that they are using...

Really cool vibe for breakfast, and it seems like a nice spot for drinks in the evening too. I had a bagel with fresh cheese, parmesan, sundried tomatoes and rucola - super tasty. The chai latte with oat milk was a bit too sweet and milky for me, but the tomato pesto mozzarella bagel and oat milk latte were both very good. Everything came to around €11, which felt like great value. Loved the interior and the atmosphere, especially the shared tables...
