The service is amazing! The whole place is cosy and the food is simply sumptuous and delicious. I can’t emphasise enough how flavourful they made their Indian food to be. It tastes just like those back in Asia. The flavours of the spice in the food is very distinctive and the mutton curry is done perfectly so that the tenderness of the meat is enough to make you want to ask for a second rice serving.

But of course, you won’t be asking for a second serving (if you ordered something from the Menu for Two) because the portion is JUST SO BIG! If you are ordering the Menu for Two, remember to go with a totally empty stomach or bring a third person or you won’t be able to finish it. Almost all the patrons packed their food to take home or took their time to finish their food. So if you’re going to go there for dinner, do go there earlier. And if you can’t take spicy food, do tell. But if you like some Asian spiciness in your food, I’d say, go for it.

The prices may seem pricey from the outside, but for the amount you are getting and the quality of the food they are serving, I felt that it was very cheap. We were also served mango shots after our meal and that was the best shot I’ve taken in my life! So tangy and refreshing. Very good quality alcohol. We tipped very heavily for the service as well...

Zunächst einmal: Ich bin selbst in der Gastronomie tätig, deshalb ist mein Anspruch vielleicht etwas höher und ein anderer Gast hätte vielleicht noch einen Stern mehr gegeben. Doch warum? Punkten kann der Laden mit seinem Ambiente, es ist neu, es ist sauber. Doch das wars dann schon auch. Service: Der Service ist katastrophal, erst diskutierte die Bedienung, dass wir den Mittagstisch bestellen sollen, was nur eine Person von uns wollte. Die anderen haben aus der "normalen" Karte bestellt. Dann bringt er große Getränke, obwohl wir ausdrücklich (sogar wiederholt) kleine Getränke bestellt haben und ist auch generell ziemlich aufdringlich, aber nicht auf die nette Art. Nun zum Essen: Wir mussten sehr lange auf unser Essen warten und bekamen auch nicht (wie bei manch anderen Indern in der Stadt üblich) Naan-Brot vorgesetzt, dabei sind die Preise auf einem ähnlichen gehobenen Niveau. Als das Essen ankam, war der überwiegende Teil der Gruppe erst einmal sehr ernüchtert. Die Portionen, die wir bekamen, waren sehr klein und kein bisschen größer als die vom Mittagstisch, obwohl der Preis DOPPELT so hoch war (und die Zutaten waren auch nicht exklusiver). Für die gesamte Gruppe gab es EINE Schüssel mit Reis, aber keine besonders große. Das Essen (ob Lamm oder Hähnchen) war total trocken und von keiner guten Qualität (auch hier merkt man den Unterschied, wenn man sich etwas auskennt). Als wir das letzte Körnchen Reis aus der Schüssel gekratzt haben, waren wir noch hungrig, was bei diesem Preis nicht akzeptabel ist. Dann wollten wir zahlen, aber die Bedienung war verschwunden...die anderen Gäste wollten auch zahlen, doch der Herr tauchte erst eine halbe Stunde später wieder auf, um abzurechnen. Keine Möglichkeit, Reis nachzubestellen oder etwas zu Trinken (falls wir gewollt hätten) und keine Möglichkeit, das Restaurant auf dem schnellstmöglichem Weg zu verlassen.
