Familienbäckerei Kistenpfennig — Restaurant in Munich

We were desperate for good tasting coffee and a good breakfast … the place seemed very popular with long queues waiting to enter, we had there the best Coffee I had in days since I arrived to München! I had as well butter-pretzel which was simply from heaven! Crispy with plenty of butter as well as chocolate Croissant which was fresh and super tasty, the kids tried the Käsekuchen with Mango and strawberry .. all food was of a high quality and super delicious, the people there are so friendly as well, they gave us freely two small cups of chocolate milk, I really enjoyed taking breakfast there and would definitely go there again if I come...

I do not mind waiting unusually long in line (it is often understaffed) because it is good food! However, a regular and paying customer should not feel bad for asking for a glass of tap water added to his meal and his coffee. Why should anybody do his or her job sarcastically? It is especially disappointing to find the service talking about you in a very disrespectful way the minute it seems you are out of earshot. If you need to do this, fine. But at least be competent enough to hide...

I came to Kistenpfennig regularly for nearly a year and I am conflicted in my review. The food is tasty and if you get the meal of the day then it will cost about 6€ which is a good deal.
