Bingo — Restaurant in Munich

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible new restaurant in Munich, and I must say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance.

The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was a work of art, meticulously prepared with creative flavors and the finest ingredients. Paul, the chef, truly showcased his talent and passion in each and every bite. The attention to detail and the harmonious blend of flavors were simply outstanding.

I want to extend a special thanks to Paul for his culinary expertise and dedication to creating such remarkable dishes. Your talent shines through in every plate, and I am grateful for the culinary journey you took me on.

Das Essen in diesem Restaurant war wirklich gut, doch leider wurde der positive Eindruck durch den Service stark getrübt. Wir kamen mit guter Laune zu unserer Reservierung und wurden zunächst freundlich empfangen. Man ließ uns Zeit, die Speisekarte zu studieren und der Service wirkte anfangs aufmerksam. Doch die Stimmung kippte, als wir unsere Bestellung aufgaben. Da es meinem Freund kurzfristig nicht so gut ging, bestellte nur ich etwas zu essen. Daraufhin wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter mit genervter Miene und in einem unangemessen lauten Ton gefragt: „Ach Leute, was war denn eure Intention mit der Reservierung? Wir haben Leute schon weggeschickt… und das geht quasi gar nicht, dass nur einer etwas bestellt.“ Diese Bemerkung vor dem ganzen Restaurant und in Hörweite des Nachbartisches war nicht nur unangebracht, sondern auch äußerst unangenehm für uns. Mein Freund fühlte sich verlegen und entschuldigte sich sogar, obwohl wir uns keineswegs im Unrecht fühlten. Als wir darauf hingewiesen wurden, wir könnten entweder an die Bar wechseln oder das Restaurant verlassen, musste ich deutlich klarstellen, dass ich trotzdem gerne etwas essen möchte. Ich verstehe, dass ein Restaurant wirtschaftlich arbeiten muss, aber diese Art, Gäste zu behandeln, ist schlichtweg respektlos. Niemand sollte zum Bestellen gezwungen oder derart unfreundlich konfrontiert werden. In einem Restaurant muss man immer damit rechnen, dass nicht jeder Gast ein vollständiges Menü bestellt. Es ist nicht ungewöhnlich, dass nur einer der Gäste etwas isst und der andere vielleicht nur Getränke oder eine Nachspeise wählt. Die Entscheidung, wie und was man bestellt, sollte jedem selbst überlassen bleiben, ohne Druck oder unangenehme Kommentare. Wir fühlten uns anschließend ziemlich unwohl, was auch meinem Essen einen faden Beigeschmack verlieh, obwohl es eigentlich gut war. Selbst beim Trinkgeld fühlte ich mich eher gezwungen, etwas zu geben, obwohl ich es im Nachhinein bereue. Zu allem Überfluss waren, als wir das Restaurant verließen, noch fünf Tische frei, was die gesamte Situation noch ungerechtfertigter erscheinen lässt. Insgesamt war das Essen zwar gut, aber der Umgang mit uns hat unseren Abend leider deutlich getrübt und wir würden das Restaurant so nicht...

Lovely bistro with interesting plates of food. It is really a unique place for Munich for those that want to try something a bit different. The restaurant and menu had a modern and international feel.

Most of the food was really good (would recommend the tartar, dumplings and steak main) but the cheese toast was disappointing. We were told it comes with kimchi but in the end it seemed like it was overcooked cabbage which didn’t have a great flavour. We should have ordered the salad instead.

The prices are pretty high and so for me it is more of a special occasion place than for casual dining. For one small, three medium and one large plate, three drinks and a bottle of water it was 140 euro.
