Café Glück — Restaurant in Munich

A hidden gem for sure! It was Sunday night, around 11 pm, and we were searching for homemade cakes. And guess what? We found this place. Impressions? The best cakes we’ve ever eaten! We ordered 4 pieces. Never tried some of these recipes before, and the chocolate cake was made without flour! Two of them were freshly made right from the oven. It was a fantastic experience. And the owners? It’s a family business, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into it. You can feel their energy – so friendly! At the end of the night, we talked a lot, exchanged ideas, and realized that one of the owners and I share the same country of birth. I was actually having a good day before entering this lame excuse of a restaurant. Lets start with the rude waiter that spoke german to me when i a am just a innocent english speaker. No regard to this he even didn't offer to explain the menu. The owners seemed to have a argument not very professional they should seek quidance for that. Weinerschnitzel? This is my favorite cafe / bar / living room in Munich. Everything is as simple and perfect as it can get. It's ultimately cosy and warm, has good and very moderately priced cocktails and drinks, comforting, healthy, filling, cheap and delicious food, giant candy snakes in a jar. The people there are welcoming and nice, and they never give you the feeling that you can only stay if you order a drink every 30min, which is the case in so many other places.
