So far, the best Bavarian restaurant where I've eaten in Munich. I mean, really. And for a very affordable price for Munich! The waitresses are really nice. You should order the Knödelgröstel. It is super good. And the Kaiserschmarrn... Just the best I've ever eaten. Caramelized, tasty, big... BIG! Go there without any doubt. It's worth it.

Very nice local wirsthaus and bar. Service was above average with good food. We got the sampler which had obazta, sliced meats, mustard and Frikadellen. We had Augustiner helles which a light Beer. Chairs were not very cozy but if you drink enough you will be fine. We also had a schnitzel for only 11 euros which is a great price.

We went there with friends for dinner. We had a table reservation for 7.30pm. Firstly, our table was given away. The person who is responsible for coordinating the tables sent us to the table with the words, "we gave the table to 2 people they know you are coming just go there. " The time was 7.25pm when we arrived at the table. I know this because the guys at the table were getting into a discussion with us complaining that we are too early and saying that they are not moving. We were standing there and no one of the staff even cared. Eventually, we could sit down.

It was the last day before closing, so the menu was limited. Which is ok and understandable. What was not understandable is that we ordered 3 Münchner schnitzel and 1 hackbraten with NO announcement that they ran out of potatoes. When the waiter came to bring the food, he said we only have the meat, and you can have a salad with it without any other option. He said he would make it up with schnapps- which none of us would drink. As a makeup, we then got a kaisetschmarrn - 1 porting for 4 people. We were thatched full price for yhe food.

In essence, it was extremely unpleasant that the food was very careless and prepared. I did have a salad which was lacking dressing, the meat was ok but as mentioned it was only half of the announced meal and the kaiserschmarrn was dry, and had like 4 raisins.

Apart from that it was just loud in this place. Good f you go with 2 people but not either a group.

I would not go...

I wandered in here with some friends from Spain that were visiting, we were looking to eat some German food and we were in the neighborhood. When we walked in, we were inmediatly greeted by the friendly stuff, and despite it was quite full for a thursday evening, we managed to get a table. What impressed me the most was the food, the price is in the lower range of Munich prices for Wirsthaus but definitely the quality is top level. We had snitzle, käsespätzle and two meals from the tageskarte. The food was great and the quantity was more than I would have expected (i had to bring part of my snitzle home). After that visit i returned a couple of times, absolutely recomend...

This location had decent food, but there wasn't really a noteworthy dish out of the sausages, weiner schnitzel, and one of the meals of the day. The risotto was really good, and there were several gluten free options. A family member had a beer and said it was only average. The service was fine. The cash-only aspect was slightly difficult because it was harder to pay for the number of meals as well as the drinks (high priced stilled water!), so make sure you have enough. Overall, it's a fine place for a quick bite, but I didn't find it...
