Eis Café Venezia — Restaurant in Munich

Poor Schwabing, the only thing above-average was the rudeness....

It is one thing to tell guests that sitting on the terrace is not allowed in case you are having only a to-go-icecream (correct). But it is another thing to do it in such an incredibly rude way as the "waiter" (an elderly man with strong Italian accent, probably the owner) did....He even used the "sh..." word... :-o Hey Mr. Impolite, think about how many clients you lose forever...(And in this case we were actually not even causing loss of profit because the terrace was already half-empty anyway - at 7pm on a Tuesday ...)

Sad to see that apparently he does not (have to) care about losing guests because the business is running too well. As in addition this ice cream (at Venezia) is really replacable in terms of taste, textures etc. (= standard mixtures) I will from now on support the other ice cream makers as Trampolin, Verrückter Eismacher, Bartu,...there, not only ice cream but also politeness is...

Tasty ice-cream, pleasant place, but... The staff did not allow to stay at the table outdoors for even 5 minutes to eat one ball of ice-cream. "Only to go, with such an order (if you do not order any drink additionally. Stupid rules, or just such shift.. don't know. We did not see a crowd in a queue and there we lots of free tables both inside and outside the venue. Disappointed and angry because had to go and eat the ice-cream with my daughter on our way, messing the...

Nice ice cream but gruff staff. We weren't really familiar with ice cream etiquette and after getting our cones (very reasonably priced for the quality)...we thought we would grab a place to sit - with 3 kids ....but were told off by a staff that we can't sit with only ice creams. A word of advice to the wise....maybe we don't know how you roll, but would love to find out and if you are nice maybe we buy something more to justify the trouble of taking a table ! Why...
