Neuhauser — Restaurant in Munich

Went out for dinner as it was close to our bnb; had good reviews. WOW! Exceeded ALL of our expectations! Sat inside on a cool evening. The waiter was prompt, friendly, and helpful. Ambiance is fantastic…slightly modern but with a warm and welcoming vibe; conversation is easy but just enough “buzz” that you aren’t hearing the next table. And the FOOD. We had the Aturc pizza and Tiramisu. Portions were huge…we split both and were very full. 😄 We both said they were both among the best we had ever had! For two, with drinks, was less than €35. My father and I were here for breakfast on a Saturday. The cafe was more or less empty and I now understand why. We had a waitress, a blonde lady with a short ponytail and bangs whose attitude was extremely rude, probably because my father doesn’t speak German. We saw her speaking politely to the German guests but literally threw my father’s meal and coffee at his face with a look of disgust on her face. The cafe is also overpriced, 5€ for a cappuccino is a little too expensive even by Munich standards and we certainly expect better service at a cafe where the prices are so steep. The food here can be lovely, but I've repeatedly run into problems with the service here that were so bad I'm inclined to go elsewhere.

You can find decent pizza almost anywhere, but good service is a bit trickier to find, unfortunately.

Also, it's worth noting that this restaurant seems to delete negative reviews by abusing google's reporting system, which is automated. A friend of mine who was with me during one of these more negative experiences left a review which was later removed. I think this speaks volumes about the mindset of the people running this restaurant.
