Man muss hier differenzieren.

Mein Vater hatte eingeladen.

Fun fact: Meine Begleitung fand dieselbe Ente sehr lecker! Also jeder...

I usually don’t give bad reviews but this time I feel like it would be useful for celiacs. I was super excited for the visit at this place with a large group, me for the gluten free menu (for a celiac, going to a place where they know how dangerous gluten is for us, is a breath of fresh air; I was also very hungry after not finding gf food over the day at the office). The terrace has a very nice vibe but the staff is completely overwhelmed unfortunately. Our waiter was very tired and unfriendly, never mind unprofessional. Ordering drinks was a stressful task for us and him, and paying at the end was a huge mess.

Now to the food: First thing, online you see the green star with the mention that the marked items can be made gluten free. On the physical menus you don’t see any explanation for these markings. Weird.

The schnitzel was okay but incredibly salty, they don’t offer gf fries too, instead you get the greasy bacony baked potatoes (Bratkartoffeln mit Speck) which are even saltier. I also didn’t manage to get gf Kaiserschmarrn (as many others before) bc they don’t make them anymore when it’s “too late” (21:30 in my case). Huge disappointment as this was the main reason...

This was the perfect place to have our first meal in Munich! Their GF menu was outstanding and I even treated myself to a GF beer :) Our waiter was such a gem (although he was very busy running around) and was great whenever he had a chance to check on us. My parents ordered a flatbread appetizer and they demolished it so quickly. I ordered the grilled goat cheese salad and savored every single bite. It was the perfect start to a filling meal. I forgot the name of the dish I ordered, but it consisted of roasted pork with naturally GF jous with a GF potato dumpling. The flavors were fantastic and the meal was SO filling for not even 20 euros. We continued to enjoy our drinks and were much too full for dessert. For my GF friends, the GF dessert menu had so many choices so you should definitely try! All in all, it was a very pleasant experience with great family, great food, in a great environment!

P.S. Celiac's Disease actually got its "start" in Europe, so I loved the fact that the actual condition was listed on the...

Food was great. The fries tasted fresh and the meat was tender and delicious, as well as the emmental filling that was melting out of it, making everything even better. Great beer, right temperature and good amount of options. Everything was beautifully served with great presentation. Service was perfect. They speak English perfectly here, so language is not a barrier. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, we had a good conversation. The place is incredible, with decorations and furniture capable of showing a great piece of tradition and history, all with great style. I loved and enjoyed absolutely everything about this place and I would definitely go back and recommend it.
