Paulo e Pini — Restaurant in Munich

First time experience and not a good one. The place is nice but the service was awful. Definitely not the way I am used to in Munich. 15 min to be attended and then almost an hour waiting when the place was not so crowded. The waitress was clearly not in the mood and did not handle the situation (in my opinion) very well. Of course mistakes can happen and one can forget your order but, as soon as she noticed that something was wrong, she did not prioritized us. She kept saying, "oh, I don't know what happened. Let me see" ...even without an apology. Is that so complicated to bring a hot chocolate, even though the pastry we order was not ready? People arriving after and leaving before we got something. Sadly we had to leave. Just a wrong...

It is nice - but overrated. Seats are not comfy neither inside or out.

Staff is I shall say a typical Bavarian directness. I kind of expected a little bit more happiness/ friendliness from this perceived “hip” place. They are nice-ish, but not warm and heartily.

Had to wait quite long to order - anything. And it was early morning and barely anyone else there.

I came here twice, 1st time in summer, 2nd time in winter (Dec) because I was in the area and wanted to check out the inside and needed a place to prepare for a meeting - that is in my opinion not desired here too loud music and acoustics.

TLDR: Food and coffee were really perfect, service was extremely poor.

We’ve been there for breakfast, even though the place was half empty, serving 2 omelets took ~40minutes. People ordered after us got their food and even omelets and when we asked where is ours, they murmured that they are busy. Saying “we are sorry, your order is mixed up” would be more than sufficient instead of lying to our faces. When we asked at least can we get our coffees earlier, their response was rather rude, saying that they can’t make it...
