Restaurant Dalmatiner Grill — Restaurant in Munich

Came here as a group of four. Though the food was good, the service was simply awful and I would recommend everyone reading this to TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

The reason: We were brought four dishes at some point in the evening, timely. Granted we don't speak Croatian and were enjoying the atmosphere and wine, we accepted what was brought assuming it was correct and began eating. Some minutes passed and in the middle of our meal, another dish arrived. After some discussion, we collectively figured out that it should have been delivered originally.

The waiter then angrily reprimanded my friend, claiming that he shouldn't have accepted the other dish if he hadn't ordered it. Better yet, the waiter turned to the table of two next to us and proceeded to say "These tourists don't know what they are eating. Now you must wait." He said this in German. I suppose he assumed (incorrectly) that we do not speak the language. He then turned to our table and blamed us once again for taking the dish and said, "Now THEY must wait. Enjoy your meal!" He was a jerk the rest of the night, blaming his incompetence on us several times.

This completely ruined our experience. My sole recommendation to restaurant staff is to take responsibility for your actions. If you make a mistake, NEVER BLAME GUESTS for your incompetence. This is service 101 and it is honestly incredible to me that any business would make it without practicing these basics. This was a wonderful happy accident... my son and I stumbled across this as we strolled through the Printzregentplatz neighborhood. The food was great, the service was fantastic. The service staff were incredible with their quality of service, friendliness, and helpfulness. Both my son and I left saying to each other that this was one of our favorite meals in Munich. The best place to get traditional dalmatian cousine! I can only recommend meat variations, especially čevapčiči! I come here often and also invite my friends as well as business guests- its a place with tradition and relaxed, familiar atmosphere, which is especially nice since the staff is very friendly and welcoming - every meal is served and prepaired with so much care and respect.
