Restaurant Myra — Restaurant in Munich

Interior is a wanna be restaurant. Cliche dimmed (too dim) lights and all that.

Food is mediocre at most. Soup was tasty but way too hot so I burnt my mouth. Skewers had bitter charcoal on them. Salad was just your generic salad with nothing memorable, just sliced and diced veg.

Service was the worst I’ve ever had. One of the waiter was rushing me into making an order. Then they both had dinner by the bar and were excessively loud talking in a foreign language to each other. Then they turned their face to me and continued discussing something in a foreign language while staring at me eating. I had a feeling they were plainly just discussing me in disguise since I don’t speak their language. Then one of the waiters started watching YouTube on his phone full volume. Then at 23:00 he started flipping all the chairs upside although their Sunday closing time is claimed as 01:00. Hello? I’m still eating! I want peace! All in all I felt like the place is for them to be entertained. Not for me to be served. Like it’s someone’s turf into which I was merely temporarily allowed to occupy a corner, eat and go away. Customer first? Customer last! We got chairs to flip.

For all that the price is too high.

Very bad and rude service from waiter. Food is good, but with this service it doesn’t worth it to come here.

UPD: This update is written after the response from the restaurant. Yes, I brought my drink, BUT you have blown this little thing into a huge scale. I drank my Capri-sun juice 0.2l. Please note only I did! You claim we all drank the drinks we brought with us! Although I was the only one who did it.

The next thing you blatantly lied about was the "friendly tip". It wasn't even close to friendly. You started raising your voice at me in front of my friends, and humiliated me without letting me respond. A direct quote, "This must be your first time in a restaurant, since you don't know how to behave in places like this." It sounded very insulting. And you repeated it several times and left without letting me say anything.

And about your, "You should consider beforehand whether you can afford to go to a restaurant." Even here, you decided to sass me and point out that I am not worthy of going to restaurants. In my opinion it is really very overrated place. It would be unfair to say foods are not good. Foods are good (but you can find same and better qulity in Munich in many places) but to be a good restaurant I think it is not enough. You need to have a good service. We reserved place at 20:00 and our place was not ready at that time. And it was never ready. They got our orders so late. And foods came really so late, it is Ramadan and some friends was fasting. They got their almost 1.5 hours after the iftar. Even bringing a soup took 1 hour. I admit to serve crowded groups is not easy. But if you are not able to do it do not accept such reservations.
