Ruff's Burger — Restaurant in Munich

Almost every other person I've talked to seems to love Ruff's burger so perhaps we hit it up on a off day. I'm not sure but here goes...

The patties themselves were flavorless which speaks both to the quality of meat as well as the seasoning, and the toppings ho-hum.

The buns were weirdly spongy and one burger was so bloody it was actually raw. (We asked for it medium rare btw. To their credit they cooked us a new one thus the added star.) Plus, the fries were bland and slightly undercooked.

This space is also super crowded so be prepared to jostle for a seat. In the end, chalking this one up to another burger fail in Munich. Sadly, the norm...

Beef burger was fine, the veggie one really disappointing. The eating conditions were not very pandemic friendly: while the small tables outside were adequately spaced out, plenty of people passed by or were waiting outside. Not very cosy as a sit-down place, better suited for pick-up during these times. EDIT: Adjusted rating and review after the response. About the veggie burger, the patty wasn't that good: the vegetables inside were in fairly big pieces, and some of them were still a bit tough, such as the carrot. It felt like a bag of frozen vegetables clumsily made...

The burgers here are pretty good. My absolute favorite is definitely the giggly smashed burger. Additionally they have really good fries, especially their sweet potato fries! The prices are fair and the location is a beautiful bustling street. Until now I also had no complaints ok the service, they always have been nice.
