(Updated) To the owners. First, publishing feedback on the internet is my right as a customer. As the owner I suggest you take it more positively as a learning opportunity. You were so rude to all the negative comments and don’t even bother to respond to me in English. although I’m not sure why you did that cuz you guys clearly didn’t speak German to each other among the staffs. Second, we actually had given you a second chance in store to bring a second meal - it was as bad as the first meal, which made me wonder the change of the ownership and chief.…

(Original) Headline: possible change of owner!!! Do not go!!!!

I went there with a friend and she highly recommended the omelette. However when the food was served, it was not even close to what she had before. There’s not much egg in the omelet and it was burnt. Not to mention the proper food plating, which clearly existed last time my friend had it.

The service was also really bad. It’s not the family style you would expect - they don’t smile and it takes forever to get anything.

To the owners, I don’t know how you could fail so badly on an omelette. If you don’t take your job seriously then it’s just a matter of time you run out of business. You are counting on the existing customer relationship but it will not be maintained by the poor...

Found “Tante Emma” through recommendations and it did not disappoint. It is a nice and very popular breakfast place that filled up quickly even on a Monday morning. Very friendly and efficient service, great variety of breakfast options. Their daily juice recommendation was very delicious. We were a table of five and that provided us with the opportunity to taste different dishes. Their Bauernomlett was a generous serving of a potato omelette with lots of vegetables and a nice salad. The Bircher Müsli and the Joghurt with fresh fruit were served in generous portions. We also had several variations of the scrambled eggs- all delicious and served with fresh herbs. They also provide a small tea selection. Dishes are prepared fresh and therefore come not necessarily at the same time for the table, but the quality of the dishes makes up for it. Finally the croissants were also buttery and flaky with a nice portion of jam. Clearly...

The place is beautiful, the food is ok but nothing special. For breakfast, a quick afternoon bite or tee would be a superb option.

Edit (because I can not reply the comment by the owner): I had lunch 2 times with my wife, pasta was standard commercial dry pasta, salmon sauce it's basically just super market sliced smoked salmon with cream plus the seasoning felt too basic. Also had a salad, OK, some leaves were not perfectly clean. All the dishes we ordered were presented in the same or very similar way, some green leaves with pomegranate (or similar).

Nothing was bad and I enjoyed the time there, but I just kept coming back for a coffee break + some sandwich or slice of pie, the place is particularly nice for this (when the street is not under construction) even though looking in Gmaps for boulangerie around will give you better pastry without...

I noticed this place from passing by a few times- was always full and the served food picked my interest so I went there for a brunch with a few friends. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place a lot - very cosy place and delicious breakfast. They also have the evening menu, but it doesn’t offer that much choice as the breakfast and brunch. To make sure you get a table is better to make a reservation- the cafe is quite busy during the brunch time.

we had the shakshuka and the chorizo omelette. portions are big and service is good but a bit slow. after waiting to be seated even though we made a reservation, we had to request menus after 10 minutes of no attention. a guy just came and took our chair, which turned out to be a waiter working there. he wasn’t dressed like the others and had a coat on. anyway, in general a nice place to go on sundays with good food.
