Tassilogarten — Restaurant in Munich

I’ve been in West Münich a few times and I always try and make it into the restaurant when I can.

On this occasion I was by myself and visited twice in one weekend and the service is consistently, good, quick and has a personal touch.

The food on both the visits was cooked and served at the perfect temperature and tasted. You can see the owner really cares as he constantly checking reviews on his phone. (....and no I’m not ‘that’ British customer)

They always think of their guests, the football was on and when the adverts came on, they muted the volume and put the sound back on once the football resumed (great touch in service)

I’d recommend visiting here, it’s about a 7 min walk from Ostbahnhof, has regular football, and you feel warm and taken care of.

I went for brunch and I found it super nice. The place is confortable and cozy. Most of the tables as long so you might have to share if you are in a small group. Between 11h and 14h it was super crowded so I belive reservations are required. As breakfast, there are many options such as weißwurst with Brezeln, Croissant, bread, few types cheese, salami, ham, fruits, yogurt, bread, Nutella. As breakfast they had one type of red meat, one type of chicken and pasta. The drinks were good even though most of them could have a little bit more of alcohol. The service was nice. Tassilogarten is a fantastic restaurant right in the heart of Haidhausen. It is a perfect spot for a classic Munich experience, offering a wide variety of food options with a strong focus on excellent German cuisine. I visited for a lunch with colleagues and was thoroughly impressed. I opted for the vegetarian bowl, and it was absolutely delicious; fresh, flavorful, and a great modern twist on traditional offerings.
