Trattoria La Dolce Vita — Restaurant in Munich

I visited twice in one week. I would have given 5 stars for the food and service if I didn't visit them the second time. The first visit was perfect, except there were a lot of flies during the meal. It was quite disturbing. First meal was superb. They served a slice of pizza, it was ok, slightly warm and it was a first bite of Italian pizza as a snack. I ordered the grilled sea bream and I asked the waiter not to cut as I am good with the bones. Fish was perfectly grilled and it was crispy outside (skin and fins), meat was juicy. Friend ordered the steak, it was medium cooked and super juicy. The dessert platter / combo was the best! Tiramisu...I can't describe enough to tell how good it was. Unfortunately, the second visit wasn't quite as we expected. We ordered the beef again, but it was nearly fully cooked. The service wasn't as good as the first time...we got more flies during the whole meal...we found that the food quality wasn't consistent. Don't get me wrong, they served good food in general speaking, but we wanted to have the 5 star food and service like the first time. Dessert was the only dish to taste the consistency of good...

This place is overrated, food is good taste, but all waiters have lack of professionall behaviour. I had one beer, after finoshing it noone asked me if I want anything more to drink. The same fir my colleagues, they ordered tea and you would expect that some of 4 waiters ask them if they want something to drink. We ordered 3 soups, 2 pizzas, 2 deserts and got soup after 30 minutes, pizza after 1 hour and desert after 1,5 hour. During that time noone asked us uf we want anything to drink or coffee. The big boss is trying to manage the restaurant, but he does not have enough people to manage it properly. And there is huge capacity, I think there was between 100-120 people and 4-5 waiters. But the main problem was they were walking around our table several times and did not ask...

If I lived in Munich it would be one of my go-to restaurants. When we arrived and upon ordering they brought us a beautiful pizza snack filled with cheese, mushrooms and pepperoni (the pickled green peppers). I ordered pizza. The dough was amazing definitely far above average (thin, crunchy, chewy.. all of it), i ordered the one with melanzani (eggplants) and they were pregrilled perfectly it’s been days and I am still craving more. The tomato sauce was good but can also be perfect if it’s a little more concentrated mix of sweet and sour. And they are not stingy with...
