Viethaus — Restaurant in Munich

It is a rather small restaurant with one large room. The service lady was super friendly and helpful. The menu has the obvious candidates like Pho and Bun, curries and fried noodles, but is not limited to those. Most of the entries are selectable with beef, duck, tofu, shrimps or vegetarian. We had a soup, which was like Peking soup, but had richer flavours, platter for two with spring rolls, summer rolls, bo la lot on noodles and spicy chicken breast. Main dishes were shrimp in green rice with salad and mixed meat consisting mainly of duck in a kind of red vegetable curry. For dessert we had fresh mango ( not really ripe, but ok) with rice cooked in coconut milk. Everything we had was really tasty and fresh with great flavours. The price is on a mid to lower range. Never go again!!! The badest place I’ve ever been to!！Just wait for more than 30 minutes for order！！！! No one was coming at all. I took the initiative to find a waiter to show her picture of the food..She told me that she was new and didn't know what it was. She would help her call her colleague. Then I waited for over ten minutes and no one came. Then I I asked twice, until I waited for 40 minutes before someone came to order! Worst customer service ever! I ordered a vegan dish and got one with chicken and shrimp!

I called and told them and they said that they would bring me the right order. 1 and a half hours later and I call only to have the owner tell me that it was my fault! The wife then threw my food angrily in the trash and gave me my money back....didn't even apologize that my wife (who is a vegan) ate meat because the owners wife can't speak German.
