A Culinary Journey into Korean Delights at Yuyumi Munich! We recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Yuyumi in Munich, and our experience was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we stepped in, the warm ambiance and inviting atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the incredible array of Korean dishes that graced our table. The menu showcased a perfect blend of traditional flavors and modern twists, each dish a masterpiece in its own right. From the savory Bulgogi to the mouthwatering Bibimbap, every bite was a journey into the heart of Korean cuisine.

What truly sets Yuyumi apart is not just the delectable food but the overall experience they offer. The attentive staff and impeccable service added to the pleasure of our evening. The recommendations provided by the knowledgeable waitstaff helped us navigate the menu and discover new flavors we might have missed.

We couldn't help but share the joy of our culinary adventure, and we extend an enthusiastic invitation to everyone in Munich to visit Yuyumi and savor the magic of Korean cuisine. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Korean flavors or a newcomer eager to explore, Yuyumi promises a delightful experience for all.

In conclusion, Yuyumi Munich has secured its place as a must-visit destination for those seeking an authentic and delightful journey into Korean gastronomy. Our taste buds are still singing with joy, and we're already planning our next visit to this culinary gem in the...

If you are craving Korean food avoid this place. Ordered the Daeji Bulgogi, after confirming that despite the 21.50 EUR it comes without any side dishes, I ordered the Kimchi for 6.90 EUR extra. I couldn’t even finish half of it (both). The Kimchi was salty and mixed with sesame oil, the main dish also too salty drowned in some weird marinade with chewy, fatty meat. Worst “Korean” food I ever had, even in Germany. As my mom as well as my wife are Korean and having been living in Korea for several years myself, I think I can judge what it should taste like. I gave the service crew my honest feedback, and after confirming that the owner is indeed Korean (was not present), I asked them to get the owner to try his food - as I am pretty sure he wouldn’t finish it either. The service was good and took my feedback like a pro. But as long as they don’t improve taste and quality, I can only recommend to go somewhere else for Korean cuisine - especially for the price they...

Newly opened branch of Yuyumi with great service and stylish decoration. Went there for lunch, ordered the spicy pork, spicy chicken and fried dumplings 🥟 Delicious!

(Update June 2020) The past two weeks we ordered two times dinner for collections for families's visits. The first time, all of us loved the food and the portion, the quality of the food were good. So happy that they reopened! I always ordered my favourite Korean Spicy Chicken.

However, the second time, we were all disappointed by the 'consistency' of the food. The spicy chicken had hardly any chicken in but coated with thick dough/batter...The Tintenfisch dish you tasted only the chilli, nothing else...Here I am talking about dishes that we always ordered, so it is not difficult to notice the difference. The other branch of yuyumi at Fraunhoferstrasse, it's cheaper but definitely with better cost-performance...

With the lack of consistency, I removed one of...

We went to this restaurant on a sunny day and it was really nice to sit outside. We got there before they opened up but there were already two other groups than us. We all were already sitting at tables outside but the staff did not seem to mind about it. :D After it opened up lots of people went in so it seems to be a very popular place. It might be better to book a table in advance. The mandu I had was quite tasty. All the bibimbaps had a good volume and it filled our stomach nicely. The mochi ice was also tasty but two pieces for 9.90 euro is ridiculously expensive. I’ve had three pieces of mochi ice for 4.50 euro elsewhere. All together we paid around 90 euro for two people, for two side dishes, two main dishes, desserts for two and some juices. The price aside, I’d like to go back there to try out different food. :)

I recently tried the authentic Bibimbap here, and while the food itself was genuinely good, the prices felt quite expensive for what was offered. The Bibimbap had fresh ingredients, well-seasoned vegetables, and a nicely balanced sauce that gave it an authentic Korean taste. The presentation was also appealing, and the portion size was decent. However, considering the simplicity of the dish and the overall portion, the price seemed a bit high compared to other Korean restaurants I’ve tried. The quality was definitely there, but the value-for-money aspect could be improved. If you’re looking to try Bibimbap that tastes close to the traditional Korean style, this place is a good choice. Just be prepared to spend a little more than expected. Overall, good food but not the most budget-friendly option.
