Airbräu Next to Heaven — Restaurant in Oberding (VGem)

It's hard to write a review at a restaurant you actually haven't eaten at, but I really felt the need to write a review on this place. I was actually looking forward to this place and purposefully looked for it during my layover here in Munich airport after reading an article featuring this restaurant. When I asked for a table for two, the guy in the front jokingly said, why do you need to come here, you guys look like you have already eaten. I didn't think much of it, but after being seated, I watched 5 other parties get seated, greeted, and be given a menu, I just felt that I was not welcome here, that certain group of peoples were given better services. I felt I was not given the same treatment and aside from the joking in the beginning, noone gave a proper greeting. We got up to leave and then the guy told us in a commanding way to sit and that the guy will come and give us a menu. Yeah no I'm sorry, but the guy could've given me my menu before the other parties. I felt very disrespected and just a terrible first...

Was here 11/28/19 at 19.50. We sat at the first table, to the right of the entrance. The waiter, the thin man was rude, we did not give occasion to rudeness. Inaccurately grabbing the menu from the table, he dropped my phone, breaking the screen. After that, he did not apologize, but rudely said that I had put it incorrectly on the table. The phone just lay in the middle of the table. We had little time and we did not conflict. After that, he gave change - a few Euros in coins at 1-2 Cents. I think he was in a bad mood that day. Worst service possible. We came with a small group for the home brewed lager, but the waitress kept bringing up one excuse after the other. Only “outside” is open, we’re closing (1,5 hour before closing time), only seated guests are served. We weren’t served at all during the 15 minutes waiting for a seat, neither were the 3 guys who got a seat at a small table. For the couple arriving 10 minutes after us the earlier closing time didn’t apply. The happy wave and smug smile when we left completed the terrible hospitality of this place.
