Shortly: rude member of staff, food not worth the price, seating very uncomfortable and you're basically passive smoking when sitting there.
Our experience was awful thanks to a rude member of staff.
In the beginning he seemed polite but when we were shown our table and were going there with our luggage in a carrier he just came and grabbed the carrier took it out and told us very rudely no, that stays outside. We understood that it was a policy and just grabbed the luggage without the carrier to our table.
When ordering food all I wanted was a burger, he seemed personally disappointed I didn't buy fries or a drink and that my companion didn't wish to eat.
There was a bit of a wait and I realised I don't have time to sit and eat so I asked very politely for my burger to be brought in a take away box. You would think this isn't really uncommon to ask for food as takeaway 🙃 He started questioning me very rudely with a belittling and snobbish attitude about why I have to go, when is my boarding and I tried politely explaining that I simply don't have time and he rudely stated why did you come here. Then he brought me my burger barely saying anything.
The smoking lounge is literally in the restaurant as it's own room with automatic doors so when dining there all you can smell is cigarettes, basically passive smoking when sitting there. The seats were also very uncomfortable with "trees" as your back seat.
After all that rudeness, food was subpar. Having payed 15e for only a smash burger you would expect...

I was “welcomed” in German even though I made it clear from the beginning that I speak English. I saw a dinner set menu listed and the waiter looked at me with pity, assuming I could not afford it, saying that this was not the final price and without without bothering to explain why. I was served the wrong kind of fries and half the portion that others had. We were three separate customers and each of us was brought something not ordered. The ice on the cake was the dust covering my lamp and the plant on the table (snowing in April) and the bill without any detail about what I ate. Munich airport should be embarrassed by the fact that there are at least 5 different reviews like mine, all complaining about the Italian waiter working there. What are you waiting for to fire him?
