I was annoyed after I tried to leave a review here because apparently I hadn't visited. I can assure you we sat here and I'm going to upload proof with this review. I like this restaurant at the end of the day my mother just wanted hot water for her coffee because we don't like the coffee in Germany which is fair and I don't like the tea which is herbal in Germany so we just wanted hot water but they charge us one euro 99 just for hot water alone. I mean I thought that was pretty out of order but we bought a spacey and a Red Bull which came to 12 euros with the water which is absolutely insane. I mean I absolutely get it it's an airport things are going to be more expensive but we are not allowed to bring liquids through customs we can't walk through with liquid so we don't have a choice but to buy from these places and these places know that so rather than hyped the prices up to these ridiculous amounts which really does put people offline they should be putting them down encouraging people to want to each of these restaurants but instead they charge for every little thing and they milk every little tiny thing that they can out of you and that just upsets me I think that's so to be wrong.. The flight was already 900 pounds for two people through an hour and a half from Munich to London I mean it's not cheap to fly these days so to have to pay these kind of prices just for a couple of drinks and some water for your tea and coffee is ridiculous. I'm sorry if the restaurant doesn't like my review but it's the honest truth it's too expensive it's not here for the customers benefit it's literally here just to make money.. The staff were actually very friendly it obviously isn't them that sets the prices I have nothing against the staff but again he froze they gave us the water for free but I guess not in Munich airport or at least not here and that's why I left a negative review and it wasn't a one star before I gave it three stars but now it can have a One start because it needs to be able to accept criticism that's my opinion and I don't see why I can't post it. I was there I've got the tickets to prove it so I'm going to upload that with this review..
I mean most people aren't going to have much of a choice but I don't recommend you sit here I don't recommend you buy anything from here doesn't matter if the star for a friendly unless you're multi-millionaire your average person is going to find by even the tiniest of things with the whole cost of living thing going on I can't justify or see any reason how this has acceptable .
Don't come...
Read moreMe and my family came from a long 9 hour flight, exhausted. We came in expecting great service and delicious food and what we got instead really pales in comparison. The second we stepped inside I noticed that it was a two-man show. Two frazzled waiters were dashing about attempting to keep everyone happy. We waited a minute for someone to notice us and when that didnât happen we decided to sit down ourselves. 5 minutes passed by, then 10, then 15 and then 20. The staff completely avoided eye contact with us and didnât take our order. When we got up to ask if they could take our order we received a rude and curt response from one of the two waiters saying he had two more families to take care off and then maybe he could help us. At that point we decided it would be best if we walked but tried one last time to ask another waiter and then he has the audacity to rudely tell us âWe are closedâ. We, annoyed informed him that we had been sitting here for more than 20 minutes and on the website it said they would close in an hour at 9 oâclock. After all what kind of restaurant closes at 8 at an international airport where flights arrive at 3 am. With no response he stalks off. Disappointed and quite angry that this is the type of restaurant Sissi and France is. While itâs exterior is quaint itâs service however isnât and can assure them we wonât ever take a chance on them ever again. I urge you if you are going to Munich be wary where you go. I hope the restaurant management sees this and fixes the issue as this disgusting visit at the restaurant ruined the time spent in Munich. Honestly...
Read moreThe bar area (with a nice view) has a very rude gentleman working behind the counter. I chose not to spend my money here after the initial âA?â (with his mouth remaining wide open while looking at me) reply to my âare you still open?â question. Thinking it might be a language barrier, as I appreciated that speaking English might be gentlemanâs third language, I smiled, said and showed âopen?â with my arms, to which he replied âwhat do you want?â (with a very hostile expression on his face). At that point I decided to say âyou are closed, thank youâ and walk away. I am aware that English (or German) are not everyoneâs first language (nor culture) in a current global working environmentâŚhowever some common etiquette (or just pure friendliness) training (and staff behaviour supervision) should be required for all customer facing staff in establishments charging for service. Hopefully servers with this kind of attitude will soon be replaced with robots, as the interaction with a machine would have been much more pleasant - and probably make me buy a drink and a meal at the premises. All the best to...
