Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Rostock

I have been a fan of Pizza Hut for over 2.5 decades and have had the luck to try out different stores in different countries. One is accustomed to the service and atmosphere in Pizza Hut stores. I had the misfortune to visit this chain in this particular location. I was the only customer, and the server, who unfortunately did not speak either English or good German, first of all said they serve "Pizzas" from 11:00 a.m. even though the opening time was 09:30 a.m. I thought it was a language barrier and ordered the pizza what I wanted. Now onto the second faux pas when he said that he was the only server that day and that it would take time, even though I was the only customer. The food was just okay, not up to the standards of Pizza Hut. The Pepsi tasted a lot like soapy water. The air conditioner was not working. All in all, I'm happy that there is a Pizza Hut in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, but they could definitely improve the service and the atmosphere. The only way is up...

Avoid at any cost. We were there for the "all you can eat" lunch buffet which seemed cool for a pizza place. We were pointing to the buffet, showing the banner stand at the door with the price, trying to pronounce the word "Buffet" in any language and accent we could and the unfriendly waiter was assuring us he understands our English and what we want but we still had to choose between two suggested items he was pointing at in the menu. To make a long story short we ended up being forced to order something else instead of the buffet and after lots of unnecessary discussions with him, the manager was at the table changing our order reluctantly. Afterall, the pizza quality is super low, they add a huge amount of oil to the pizza bread such that the bread smells like a bottle of sunflower oil. Their cola drink is called "Pepsi" tastes more like water and sugar and differs a lot from common Pepsi. Their poor quality of food, behavior, and friendliness does not even...

After a very long time I walked out of a restaurant. The staff completely messed up our order. We waited for 1 hour with a small baby hoping for a 'quick lunch'. God were we in for a surprise. We asked the staff to find out about our food and then came the sudden realisation that our order wasn't processed in the kitchen. We decided to get out at this point. They asked if we would pay for the Pepsi's we ordered. This was obviously a good joke, please do not waste your time or money. Once upon a time I used to really light with joy when I saw a pizza hut. Now it's a shell of what the brand used to be. Sad...
