The food was very good, but the staff experience was less than mediocre. When we first arrived, we asked for more time to analyze the menu and this prompted an eye-roll from our waiter. Later on, my friend simply asked about the types of beer available, and he wasn't very keen on answering this either. These two things were tolerable, but in the end what I found to be ridiculous is that, when paying for our bills, we gave what our bills asked of us and he threw the coins my friend gave back in her face. We are not from this country as we were on a short trip, so we weren't sure how tipping worked and we did our best with the knowledge we researched; however, we did have the tip ready to give to him after we were done paying our bills. I realize that cultural clashes may have played a role in his actions, but in the end it's unacceptable to throw money in someone's face regardless of how you feel about them. Pad thai was good though.
Read moreAuthentic and tasty Thai food. Probably the best in Stuttgart. We had boat noodles and it tasted like we had in Thailand. The noodles are directly imported from Thailand FRESH (not dried) at great expense to the restaurant (but they do it to preserve the authenticity of the noodles). The result is a perfectly chewy rice noodle that you can’t get from the dried rice noodle versions. For the boat noodles they also give you Thai basil, bean sprouts and fried pork skin on the side; together with the proper condiments that accompany noodle soups in Thailand (fish sauce, sugar, vinegar and smoked chili flakes).
My pictures aren’t good as I ate most of it before taking a photo.

Read moreThe food was authentic, spicy and delicious. The thai server lady was warm and welcoming - but the swabian man (I’m guessing the owner?) was definitely not.
At one point the server lady supposedly served us the wrong dish and he berated her for it loudly and harshly - that made us feel quite uncomfortable. I’m not even sure if it was the wrong one in the first place.
This whole situation could have been easily dealt with calmly and apologetically instead.
I don’t want to support a restaurant that treats it’s...
