It's the perfect strating point for any coffee nerd or just any aficionado of a morning joe. They communicate clearly on what type of coffee they have, where it's from, how it is roasted, what the flavor profile is and what brewing method is best. They use bags with valves to allow the cO2 to come out without letting oxygen in which is a sign they pay attention to detail to give you the freshest product. I drove to Stuttgart from Ulm just to try this place after I saw the owner in an interview online. It was what he said and how he said it that I knew this could be something special.

Unfortunately the day I went they had problems with a waterline, so I couldn't try the espresso brewed by them..

However I bought the beans (La Anona) and it was very easy to dial in and quite honestly the best espresso I've ever had. I've now bought beans several times and the consistency of the product never ceases to amaze me.

There a good variety of choices. The coffee is usually freshly roasted. For the coffee filter, depending on who brewed that cup for you, it might not be as good as what you can get from the used coffee beans. The cappuccinos/espressos are lovely. The croissants and pains au chocolat, you might not expect the quality of the parisien bakeries, but they are the best of what you can find...
