Hello, I am Sina and I love food. I travel to taste different foods. During my trip to Stuttgart, Germany, I came across the Saffron Restaurant. My personal experience from the moment I entered this restaurant was amazing because I saw full tables and many german customers which shows the success of this restaurant in offering Persian food to a Western culture. Our choice was a kebab tray and the gheime stew (vegetable stew). I must say that the excellent taste of the chicken kebab and koobideh kebab was very tasty and juicy, which indicates the selection of a suitable and quality meat with a suitable sauce, which resulted in such a good kebab. Very good quality rice with a variety of condiments had created a very good combination. Vegetable stuffed stew (gheimeh stew) may have been far from the Iranian style, but it was very good and delicious in its kind, which is a great choice for people who are looking for a meatless stew. In the end, I appreciate the warm and sincere behavior of the restaurant staff. To summ it up "everyone should try the barbecue and grilled meats of this restaurant at least once" will give you a different and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Safran in Stuttgart, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding—the staff greeted me warmly, were attentive throughout the meal, and clearly took pride in ensuring that every guest felt welcome.
The food itself was excellent. Each dish offered authentic Persian flavors, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. Everything I tried, from the tender kebabs to the fragrant rice, was both delicious and satisfying.
The only small suggestion I have is regarding the drinks. It would be preferable if the restaurant served canned or bottled fizzy beverages instead of pouring them from a large family-size bottle, as the soda quickly lost its carbonation. This is a minor point, however, and it didn’t detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal.
All in all, Safran provided a fantastic dining experience. If I find myself in Stuttgart again, I’ll certainly return for another great meal and warm...
Read moreThe service and the staff’s behaviour is a nightmare, they gave us limited time and served the food in the very last 30 minutes. The first dish was taken in the moment the person finished their food and that was a rally afterwards to take the plates at the moment we were done, so they stared at our plates the whole time, that i do ‘t even remember the taste of the food. We ordered enough drinks, but the lady told me to put my water bottle that i brought to the restaurant and put on the table and did not touch in my bag in a disrespectful manner. With the starters we ordered some onions and they were brought when the starter was finished with no apologies explaining that the onions should have been held from the basement and they didn’t have enough time to cut it. I am an Iranian and to be fair enough the kebabs were not so bad, but the rice greasy and not in a...
