We went here on a whim to get some Sichuan noodles and I was quite surprised by how packed this little place was.
They have a small space around the size of my living room for dining. It was cute and well designed to get around the dining area. There were two tables available when we got there so we were seated immediately, but the service took a while to ask for drinks. We got two beers, a soda and hot tea. The beers came out immediately with the soda, but the hot tea took a long time. This set the pace of our evening.
After a while the table next to us were seated. We ordered immediately after that and the noodles came out, but our child's meal didn't arrive. The table next to us had their food, the last plate for our table still not out. Around 20 minutes after the table seated next to us started eating, the last plate was on our table and left something to be desired with very little meat in the dish.
The noodles were pretty good, the meat was so-so and the condiments weren't on the table so we had to get them ourselves. I enjoyed the experience, but having the food come out at different times had us waiting long enough for our noodles to only be lukewarm. They were still good, but I'm not about to eat before a child at my table.
The staff were friendly and attempted to be accommodating otherwise, so maybe they were short staffed or backed up in the kitchen. I'll probably try them again later to see if I can give them a...
Read moreWe decided spontaneously to eat here on a late Sunday evening without reservation and it was not a problem at all. The personell is very friendly, fast and careful. We received our drinks almost immediately and we did not have to wait long for the food. The quality and quantity of the dishes that we ordered were really good. The vegetables were really fresh and everything was really well cooked. The only small complain is that the beer was not really cold (please do not judge for having ordered a beer in a Chinese restaurant, it was a really hot day ;-) and that we were charged a bit more for another drink (we ordered a small Fanta and we were charged for...
Read moreEverybody told me about the restaurant and iwanted to go so badly. I took me 2 more months and then i went. It was a midweekday and i was going for lunch with a colleague. The food was outstanding and the staff was super friendly. We took the recommendation and it was worth it. The cayenne chicken and the polpo weren super delicious as well as the dim sum. I love this place. Its not a super fancy restaurant and by fare not the prettiest. Its just good food and by far one of the most authentic sichuan restaurants i know. Just good soulfood!! I am looking forward to go there in person after the...
