Pane Vino — Restaurant in Trier

We visited this restaurant when it wasn't too crowded. We wanted to sit inside, and they helped us find a tablet . The waiter came to take an order, but we were still looking through the menu. They have so many delicious food selections . After 15 minutes another person came for our order. We order 3 crostinis for starters, pasta pomodoro, grilled salmon with spaghetti, and a salad and Capri spaghetti with 2 glasses of white wine and big bottle of water. We order 7:01pm. The crostinis and the wines came early and they were delicious! After that we were waiting for the rest of the food. By 7:45 we were wondering what happened to our food, new people coming and served right away. We called the waiter to our table and asked him what happened. He checked and came back to us, Yes we order food 7:01pm but outr order never got to the kitchen 🙄. Well... I give 5 stars for the kitchen people. The food was delicious! We enjoyed our food , nobody checked on us if we need anything else, but when I raised my hand to order dessert the waiter came right away. Not sure why we were treated poorly by what I assume was the head waiter, as I speak German (although my partner does not); initially we arrived, lots of open tables but he said we couldn’t be seated b/c we didn’t have a reservation. 5 minutes later my partner called asking for a reservation and a different employee said they could seat us if we arrived very soon (we had walked literally 60 seconds away from the restaurant). We were seated; really good food, nice location, decent service. When it was time to pay the guy who initially turned us away came with the bill, and “surprise”, the credit card machine wouldn’t accept our card. Apparently they were “having problems” with the machines. :(. We got cash from an ATM and he assumed the change (€15) was his to keep. Nope. We got our change and tipped the actual person who waited on us for 90 minutes. Als wir (Ich, Freundin) in das Pane Vino gegangen sind, wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und zum Tisch begleitet. Die Bedienung und der Service waren freundlich und schienen kompetent zu sein. Wir haben uns für die Vorspeise für Bruschetta und Crostini entschieden. Bevor diese an den Tisch gegeben wurde, bekamen wir vorher einen Gruß aus der Küche mit Baguette und Oliven. Diese haben uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bruschetta hingegen schmeckte überwiegend nach Oregano, welchen einen Bitteren Geschmack herbeigeführt hat. Knoblauch und Basilikum haben wir nicht rausgeschmeckt. Nach Fragen wurde uns erklärt, dass die Tomatenstückchen in Knoblauch und Basilikum eingelegt wurden sind. Die Crostini's waren meines Erachtens befriedigend. Laut beschreibung sollte alles überbacken werden mit Mozzarella, es wurde jedoch gelegentlich das Brot überbacken und die anderen Zutaten drüber gegeben. Zur Hauptspeise bestellten wir uns die Nudelplatte für zwei. Beschrieben ist sie mit: NUDELPLATTE FÜR ZWEI PERSONEN MIT VERSCHIEDENEN HAUSGEMACHTEN NUDELSORTEN UND VERSCHIEDENEN SAUCEN Die Nudelsorte war Ravioli in halbrunder und Rechteckiger Form mit anderen Füllungen, dies stelle ich mir jedoch nicht unter verschiedene Nudelsorten vor. Es gab 3 Verschiedene. 1. Pilzen + Sahnepilz soße Lachs + Lachsahne soße 3. Spinat + Spinatsahne soße. Alle Soßen schmeckten stark nach Sahne, vor allem die mit Lachs und Spinat. Sie wurden nicht gewürzt und somit schmeckten man tatsächlich nur die Sahne. Bei der Pilzsahne Soße schmeckte man im Nachgang noch die Pilze heraus. Die Ravioli mit Lachs: Der Lachs in der Ravioli war sehr stark ausgetrocknet und nicht gewürzt, somit hat alles sehr "labsch" geschmeckt. Lachs, welcher in der Soße zu finden war, hat sehr gut geschmeckt und war saftig. Die Ravioli mit Spinat: Diese haben nach wirklich nichts geschmeckt. Die Sahnesoße schmeckte zudem noch sehr wässrig, weil der Spinat beim einkochen viel Wasser verloren hat und dieses in die Sahnesoße mit rein ging. Die Portionsgröße für 2 Personen war sehr klein. Es waren ca 4-5 Ravioli von jeder Sorte auf dem Teller und das für 32,90€. Nachdem wir mit dem Chef gesprochen haben, ist uns sehr schnell aufgefallen das dieser nicht Kritikfähig ist und hat alles verneint und sagte, dass es nicht stimmt was wir sagen.
