Shluk - The Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Trier

A tiny vegan café that offers a moderate number of freshly baked goods, most of them sweet with a few exceptions. Very helpful and polite barista, excellent coffee, especially their caramel crunch latte – delicious! The sweet potato chocolate cake was very rich, almost a tad too much (maybe an addition of some red fruit would balance it off nicely?) but tasty nonetheless, with a wonderfully creamy texture. The space inside can get airless and overcrowded but on a good day you can enjoy the weather at an outdoor table. Unfortunately no WC but that's a given considering the restricted space. I'll definitely swing by the next time I visit...

The dirty chai is delicious and was up to the high quality expected in Melbourne or New Zealand, for example ❤ - hard to find in Europe!

This Cafe is very charming and it has very nice location. But I was super disappointed with the coffee! When we entered, we did not see anywhere that this is vegan cafe. The barista did not tell me that they only use plant milk! I don't like the taste of the coffee with plant milk and if I knew I wouldn't order. I ended up paying over 4 euro for a coffee that I didn't drink. And when I asked why didn't they inform me the barista was super rude and told me that it's written online!
