Restaurant Brasserie is BAM! Let me start by raving about their onion soup. It's simply amazing! The rich, savory flavors and the perfectly melted cheese on top make it a true delight for the taste buds. Trust me, you won't be able to resist it.

Now, let's talk about the veal liver with onions and potatoes. It's a dish that's cooked to perfection. The tender veal liver, caramelized onions, and perfectly seasoned potatoes create a harmonious combination that will leave you wanting more. It's a hearty and satisfying choice.

I enjoyed the pumpkin soup as well. It's always a treat to have during the cooler months. The creamy texture and the subtle sweetness of the pumpkin make it a comforting and delicious choice.

And let's not forget about the friendly staff. Their warm and welcoming attitude adds to the overall dining experience. It's always nice to be greeted with a smile and receive attentive service.

Lastly, beef tartare. While it's pretty good, it could use a little more kick or something extra to take it to the next level. Nonetheless, it's still a tasty option.

All in all, I wholeheartedly give Restaurant Brasserie a well-deserved 5-star rating. The amazing onion soup, the delicious veal liver, the delightful pumpkin soup, and the friendly staff make it a must-visit dining...

Superb service -- faultless, even. I couldn't get our server's name, but she was all business: accommodating and prompt. None of that false chumminess, no pointless chit chat. Her service, independent of the food, is worth five stars.

I wish I could say the same about the food.

The beef goulash was oversalted to a degree that made me wonder whether the chef suffers from a bad case of the butterfingers--perhaps he dropped an entire jar of salt into the pot? The "sauce" was a watery abomination that ran off the noodles like dirty rain water. Also, unsurprisingly, oversalted.

The only redeeming quality of the chicken fricasse was that it felt homey and familiar -- it reminded me of the frozen microwavable chicken pot pies I would eat in college. This miraculously managed to be undersalted, perhaps because the kitchen had run out of salt after making the beef goulash.

The interior was beautiful, befitting of a beloved local institution, which, sadly, is not what you will find at...

First the most important thing: this is the best served Bitburger Pils you will ever find. It is simply excellent! The food comes up to the same standard, although it seems relatively more expensive than previously ... but it's worth it. Excellent service and a pleasant place inside or outside (outside works whatever the weather as the terrace can be covered and has heating). A pity it is no longer possible to sit at the bar, and this is really the only negative remark I have to make. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance, although spontaneous visits...

Delicious!! Portuguese sardines with rye bread and chopped tomatoes. Escargo, snails swimming in butter and green onions. Pumpkin soup (pureed but with pumpkin seeds added for texture). Bone marrow dumpling soup. Kartoffel (potatoes softened and perfectly cooked through with butter). Boiled oxen chest (with horseradish sauce). And skin roasted Guinea fowl breast (stuffed with goat's cheese, dried tomatoes and thyme, on white wine-risotto). #intermittent fasting #fast&feast #germanytour
