The beetroot carpaccio, the tuna carpaccio and the pata negra ham…all looked so appetising and good…but due to a rude receptionist who denied us a table and to enjoy a nice night with good food and wine. Also, knowing and seeing that two tables were free and with no reservation sign on them, is just disrespectful and arrogant behaviour, especially when one of those tables was given to people who entered behind us, also without a reservation. Oh and let me add that my wife who is German, spoke and asked the receptionist in GERMAN, so there was no misunderstanding regarding language, where she also understood what the other guests were saying. Bad excuse for not...

Great discovery thanks to our friends. Small, cosy restaurant a short walk away from the city center. We ordered a mix of tapas and starters, every single dish was really great. Fine balance of taste, never too greasy or an excess of spice. It is clear that Robertino knows what he’s doing. The wine list is really interesting too. We finished off our dinner with Crema Catalana and a selection of dessert, also really fine. Service deserves a special thanks, kind and smiling (also behind the FFP2 mask 😌), welcoming. Für uns die beste Tapas Bar in Trier und Umgebung und einer unserer Lieblingsplätze, um einen besonderen, genussvollen Abend zu verbringen. Wir gehen seit Jahren ins Robertino's und wurden bisher noch nie enttäuscht, egal ob wir zu zweit oder in einer größeren Gruppe zu Gast waren. Die wechselnde Speisenauswahl ist immer auf top Niveau, ebenso wie die Weine und Spirituosen, sodaß für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Man lässt sich immer wieder etwas neues Kulinarisches einfallen und zu besonderen Tagen wie Valentinstag oder Silvester gibt es spezielle mehrgängige Menükreationen.

Das Restaurant strahlt eine gemütliche Atmosphäre aus und das Auge erkennt schnell die Liebe zum Detail in der Ausstattung. OK, die Stühle könnten etwas bequemer sein, insbesondere, wenn man länger sitzt (und je älter man wird;-).

Das Service Personal bedient mit einladender Gastfreundschaft und professionell-kompetenter Lockerheit und Robert ist immer ansprechbar, sollte mal etwas nicht passen oder man einen Sonderwunsch äußern. Man spürt im Robertino's eigentlich in allem das Bestreben, kontinuierlich höchsten Service am Kunden zu liefern. Das wissen wir zu schätzen.

Nein, es ist nicht das günstigste Restaurant für jeden Tag, aber aus unserer Sicht ist die Qualität der Speisen in Kombination mit Service, Interior und dem Rundumerlebnis das Preisleistungsverhältnis absolut wert.
